The 5 EcoPods are set spaciously within an orchard of a hundred different fruit trees in a 10 acre meadow with a woodland backdrop and snaking pathways linking the EcoPods together. Truly a great place to relax and unwind. There are so many different birds, we have local buzzards, red kites, woodpeckers, mistle thrush, ravens, etc. you could be in an episode of Spring Watch. Once you get here you are welcome to walk around the 100 acre farm, we have short onsite walks for little ones and a longer 5 pub walk for those with longer legs and an exploring nature. The Glamping site is totally off grid and was supported by the Peak District National Park through a New Environmental Economy grant from the EU with a grant in 2006.

Choose a EcoPod shepherd's huts, each including their own log burner, hot shower, compost toilet, kitchen, and phone charging facility. The Willow, Hazelwood and Great Oak pods sleep up to four while the Holly and Mountain Ash pods sleep up to two.

There is lots to do onsite and many people don't leave once they get here! With lots of free onsite games including, Swing-ball, Giant Jenga, Boules, Badminton and also a woodland walk with seating in the glade if its too hot or windy!
If you like water Sports Carsington Water has a range of activities to get involved in such as windsurfing, canoeing and sailing. If you want to stay on dry land, bring a bike or hire one and cycle around its nine mile perimeter finishing on the roof top café overlooking the Lake.
Walk in the stunning scenery of the Weaver Hills and cycle next to the meandering river of the Churnet valley with the many routes open to you. You're within easy reach of market town Ashbourne and just a short drive from Alton Towers.
