Excellent campsite!
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Brilliant campsite, great facilities and lovely location. It had everything we needed and we had a very comfortable stay. The pizza van on Friday night was a great addition! We would 100% recommend and will definitely be back.

VW-Type Campervan - Gravel Pitches (Awnings) Jun 2024 We really enjoyed our short stay at Cwmdu. The plot was spacious & with great views. There was a coffee pod open from 9 and the shop was amazing. Pub down the road. Can't recommend enough.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Me and my wife had a great stay here. The couple who run the park are a lovely couple who where very helpful, polite and a good laugh. Would recommend to everyone.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Arrived and greeted by site manager, the warmest welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Although we didn't realise we had booked non electric, pitch changed flawlessly.
Facilities spotless, everything was just amazing, from arriving to leaving.
Thankyou for an amazing weekend, we will definitely be visiting again. Andrew and Dawn.
Wonderful campsite a home from home
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 What an absolutely wonderful campsite. Stayed for a long weekend of camping and hiking. The warm welcome we received was lovely and the facilities were great. Really clean showers and toilets as well as food/drinks available. Will definitely be staying again.
Our visit Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (Awnings) Jun 2024 The site has many good things going for it, but a very questionable pitch that did effect our overall judgement.
We stayed on a very busy sunny weekend. The welcome on arrival was lovely and we were shown to our pitch. This was very disappointing. The pitch was on a corner and completely shaded by trees. The weather was sunny, but our pitch didn't see any of it, no matter the time of day. I personally would not class the spot as a pitch.
Wi-Fi was also very sporadic which could have been because of the busyness of the site. ice touches are the Friday pizzas, which were very good, and the draft beer, also good. There are lots of walks from site. The shop, which was well stocked, was also very expensive, £2.90 for a 220ml of mayonnaise. So remember to take all you need with you.
In all, this site is not for us.
Convenient and just what we needed
VW-Type Campervan - Gravel Pitches (No Awnings) Jun 2024 This was a lovely site. VERY helpful man showed us to our pitch on arrival, a quick, brief but concise, run through of everything. Lovely trees, beautiful views.
Big shower block, good little shop, lots of water points and easy bins.
Would be nice if there was a dog area for a night time run around (there is a children's football pitch, which I guess is handy for parents, but I'd prefer it if it had been a dog walking area!) Lovely idea of a coffee and breakfast truck but didn't get to try it as was too busy and not so speedy.

Excellent camping site with cool looking glamping pods
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 What an excellent little site, wasn't expecting such a good site as this when I booked as it was only £10 per night for a two man tent and motorcycle.
The site was very clean and well laid out, with a new men's shower block. A trailer serving breakfast baps and coffee in the morning was very popular.
Most importantly the staff were very friendly, could not do enough to help and recommended local services.
Have no hesitation in saying this is the best site I've stayed at in a long time, a great vibe to it.

Facilities are spotless, the camp itself is perfect

Great site
VW-Type Campervan - Gravel Pitches (No Awnings) May 2024 Great campsite - we had an electric pitch for our VW Transporter and really enjoyed our stay. The site was nicely spaced out and facilities were good - clean toilets and showers, lots of water points. The coffee truck and pizza pop ups were a great addition and the shop was nicely stocked. The location was ideal for heading to Hay Festival, and we spent one day on a door-to-door hike into the Black Mountains and along the Beacons Way.

VW-Type Campervan - Gravel Pitches (No Awnings) May 2024 Lovely campsite just north of Crickhowell, in a beautiful location. Staff were really friendly and the site had a great feel to it. On-site mobile coffee bar selling bacon sandwiches, muffins etc.

Motorhome - Gravel Pitches (Awnings) May 2024 What a stunning place to stay. Amazing staff who were attentive and made us feel very welcome! They have everything that you need and the surrounding area is great if you fancy walking.
We will definitely be returning in the summertime.

Only thing that reduced this from a five was the busy road at the bottom of the site, but this may not affect you if higher up the site.
Facilities really clean and plenty of them.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 We received a great welcome from the owner who showed us to our pitch and explained what facilities were available, she was also able to advise us about Pen Y Fan walks which is why we were in Cwmdu.
The camp facilities were very clean and inviting
