Motorhome - Waterside Fully Serviced All Weather Pitches Sep 2025 Really big site, does need a tidy up on some of the buildings. Currently being converted to all static homes and lodges.
Beautiful setting, helpful and friendly staff
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 A beautiful setting and perfect for watersports. Lovely local villages to visit with plenty to do.
My partner was very poorly on our last night and the manager was really kind, allowing us to take our time packing up in the morning, this was very much appreciated.
Only downside is the toilets and showers are in need of an upgrade.

Could be a lot better RV - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2025 On arrival at the site, you are welcomed with a great view of the lake and lovely chalets. We then drove through to the campsite, which becomes less well looked after.
There had been an issue with our booking and we were not allocated a hard standing as stated when booked. We were then given a spot, which was hard standing, but very small for our 8m long RV. There were big trees at the back, so we could only park lengthways along the front edge, which left no space for anything else.
The hard standing pitches were not well looked after, although the grass pitches did seem better maintained. The toilet blocks are old and could have been cleaner. There was no motorhome service point. We have stayed at a lot of campsites over the years, but this was the most expensive and definitely not worth almost £50 per night we paid.
We absolutely loved this site!

Lovely campsite, good location and good price
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We booked quite last minute and found site availability. We realised was well located for Drayton Manor and Twycross Zoo. Opted for the zoo in the end which is very close in a car.
We booked an electric grass pitch for our trailer tent. Was well planned out and the site reception was happy to help when needed. Plenty of water based activities available and mini golf we didn't have chance to use these this time, but plan to go again and will then.

We did not use the facilities as we have our own.
The only disappointment for us was people smoking around the water side. Whilst I appreciate this is not the fault of the staff, maybe something could be done to combat this issue. #
I would not want this around my children.
