Clear filters Our first stay in a pod
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Four Person) Aug 2024 What a fabulous find in the height of season. Our first time to Wales and this site was immaculate, friendly and caters for all.
We chose here as not too far to the 4 Waterfalls Trail approximately 30 minutes drive away. First time staying in a pod too (we normally camp in our polybell tent). The toilets and showers were immaculate. The view of the lake was lovely too. They squeezed my daughter in last minute on a pony walk before we departed, which made her day.
Cost-wise I can't compare with others as first time using a pod, hence 4 stars.
I took my Thermomix with me to help with cooking to keep costs down as we had EHU but we did treat ourselves to an evening meal in The Red Lion pub in the village which I would highly recommend. The onsite café in the activity centre was good value when we had a cooked breakfast there before our long drive home.
Would we stay there again - yes we would.

Great couple of nights
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Three Person) Aug 2024 Great place to stay, café on site with a delicious breakfast, lots of things to do locally, the pod had everything you need, although my friend had a pod and it didn't have a fridge.

Regarding the fridge – we will be making some changes to our Pods shortly, so our 4-person Pods will also come with a fridge very soon! :-)
Incredible views and experience
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 The first campsite my family and I have ever stayed at and it couldn't have gone better.
The facilities were very tidy and cleaned every single day. The site had toilets, showers, separate sinks to wash your dishes, a water source, cafe, activities such as horse riding and you can also rent out boats on the lake nearby. The views were immaculate! Plenty of space and very friendly staff.
We hope to come back again next year.

Great site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Really enjoyed our stay at this site. The campsite had great facilities and was easily accessible. The location is fantastic, with great views over the lake and the Brecon Beacons. Would recommend to everyone.

Perfect for families
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Excellent location, friendly staff, and an activity centre on the same site. A really good campsite. New shower block too. :)

Great campsite, highly recommended
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Campsite location was perfect as we planned to do the Four Falls Trail the morning of our departure. Washing facilities are new and clean. Reasonable price too. Highly recommended if your visiting Brecon.
