About the site
We are a family-run glamping site on a busy working farm, so you're sure to see some of the action — from lambing and harvest to curious cows coming to say hello while you relax in the hot tub. Guests are welcome to wander our farm tracks, where you'll spot local wildlife and take in sweeping views of the countryside. Just 15 minutes from Northumberland's sandy beaches, 10 minutes from Alnwick and only half an hour from Cragside or the Cheviot Hills, we're ideally located for exploring the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Each unit has its own private garden, with optional hot tub, fire pit, BBQ and seating — perfect for stargazing under Northumberland's famous dark skies. Guests often catch stunning sunrises over the coast, and some have even spotted the Northern Lights. Our dog-friendly pods are enclosed, so four-legged friends can roam freely. On arrival, you'll find fresh linen and towels ready for you, plus hot tub hoodies if you've opted for one. We also provide complimentary biscuits and marshmallows — perfect for toasting over the fire. Our honesty shed, "The Stick," is stocked with logs, kindling, charcoal, disposable BBQs and seasonal treats to add to your stay. Celebrating something special? Let us know, and we can add balloons, treats, or even dog treat boxes to make your stay extra memorable. We have three luxury glamping pods for two (plus dogs) — each with a king-sized bed, ensuite shower, T.V. and a well-equipped kitchen for easy self-catering. For something truly unique, try one of our restored canal boats, set into the hillside with wonderful views. Miss Ellie sleeps up to six with two double beds and a set of bunks, while Moonraker is perfect for two with a snug cabin bed and its own bathroom under canvas. Both are fully heated and have good working kitchens, with plenty of space to relax, play games or watch a film on rainy days. For larger groups, our spacious showman's wagons, Peweet and Plover, sleep up to six. Each has a king-sized bedroom, twin room and sofa bed, plus an open-plan living area with smart TV and a fully fitted kitchen. Plover also has an ensuite bathroom and even a bath with a countryside view. Dogs are welcome in the pods but not in our other accommodation.
