Sandparks Campsite is a dog and family friendly, relaxed campsite with direct access to the beach at Widemouth Bay and just a hop, skip and a jump from the centre of Bude (five minutes in the car). This back to basics site is directly opposite the beach and there's a cosy pub, restaurant with fresh seafood and shop selling local produce less than a two minute walk away.

About the site

Take in the stunning sea views from your pitch, stroll into Bude within 30 minutes, or catch one of the regular buses which run close by if you prefer. With direct access to Widemouth Bay beach, famous for it's surfing, you'll be able to catch a wave anytime you like at this laid back site. Pitches are set on grass and you have the option of choosing an electric or non electric pitch. It's a relaxed and hassle free experience here, without fuss or frills. Both BBQs and campfires are allowed and dogs are welcome.

Facilities include a toilet block with shower and accessible toilet, a washing up area, chemical waste disposal, water taps, charging facilities and a communal freezer. There's a pub, a restaurant serving fresh seafood and a shop with essentials and local produce just a few minutes walk away.

The beach is right on your doorstep here and ideal for surfing, you'll have direct access from the site too. Bus number 95 stops a minute or two from the campsite entrance and will take guests to Bude. Bike hire is available two fields walk away from site.

Things to do on site and in the Bude area

Surfers are drawn irresistibly to Widemouth Bay but it's also ideal for other beach goers, with a dog friendly section where your four legged friends can explore, and a family friendly atmosphere.

The Weir Bistro, Bude Bike Hire and Bude Segway are a short walk inland. Want to catch a wave but don't have the kit? No problem, you can rent surfing gear close by if you don't have your own board.

Why not spend the day in Bude where you can relax on Summerleaze Beach, take in the gentle views of Bude Canal or get stuck into some watersports.
