What a find! Lovely site with fabulous facilities. We stayed whilst it was quiet and the weather was very cold. The shower facilities were the best we've come across. There was a kitchen as well that we could use with a four-ring hob, combination microwave, two sinks, washing machine, fridge and separate freezer. In addition, a lovely lounge area with a tv and we made full use of that as our little camper has no heating. Everything was spotlessly clean and well looked after. Couldn't ask for more!

Ok so it's winter and it rains so things don't look their best, but apart from being close to a road (not too busy though) this place is faultless. Walk into the village for a great meal at the Church Inn if you can.

Great experience. The pitches/parking were A* and the showers/toilets were extremely clean with plenty of room in the shower room, plus a chair to put your clothing on. The TV room was lovely and warm and was lovely to chat with other campers while watching the World Cup. Lovely place to stay, thank you 👍

This was an excellent site, with level pitches. Not too big a site. Excellent facilities and extremely clean, with lovely showers. Will definitely be back.

Lovely clean site. All pitches are fully serviced Spotlessly clean, warm toilet and shower blocks. A one-way system which we found very good and Covid friendly! A nice big room is available to watch TV with plenty of chairs. Also a big kitchen for washing up and microwave facilities. We recommend this site and it is only a ten-minute drive to Buxton town centre.

We used this as a meeting place for 3 families from Leicestershire, Lancashire and Yorkshire. We love walking and the 5-mile cross country walk to Buxton was brilliant. We then used the kitchen and lounge area at night to all meet up and have a few drinks. Will definitely be returning.

The facilities are first class. The site is very close to the road which, although it is well screened, it is a little noisy in the morning. It is a nice little site, but the pitches don't leave much room for sitting out, which you might want to do on a summer evening. Magnificent scenery.

A very nice site, lovely clean facilities with one of the nicest bathrooms we've visited, plus common room, kitchen area and brilliant secure bike storage. Main fully serviced pitches are excellent and very pretty. Small electric pitch's are a little bit of an after thought compared to the main ones, but nice enough for a quick 1 night stay. It is quite close to a busy-ish road so there is some noise but overall it's a solid 8.5/9 out of 10 kind of place.

We stayed on a grass pitch number 16. The view was delightful. The park offers excellent facilities from a fully equipped kitchen including tea, coffee and milk. Oh and mugs incase you forgot yours. A large TV and dining room. Plus the showers are spotlessly clean and so warm. We will most definitely be visiting again xxx

A nice place to stay. Kept very clean! Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the internet connection was a bit weak, so we couldn't access it from our motorhome, which was frustrating.

We found this campsite which is well situated between Bakewell & Buxton. It's a small site with some pitches and cottages. It's very easy to find. On confirmation, we received and email with details for our arrival and photo's of the pitch. On arrival - we couldn't locate the pitch as there was a sign for pitches to the left and cottages to the right. We soon realised our pitch and a handful of others was located past the cottages and behind the barn. It was a little odd but we were next to a large field where our dog could have a good walk. We also had beautiful, unobstructed sunset views and a field of friendly cows. There was Wifi but I wasn't able to connect - not an issue. The facilities block was right next to us and it looked and felt brand new. There are 3 toilets & 2 shower cubicles which were very clean. There is a hairdryer ( didnt use). There was also a kitchen to wash up, it was kitted out with a cooker and microwave! We didn't know and cooked in our van. We only stayed 1 night and would happily stayed longer. If you are after a nice quiet spot to chill - this is for you.

The toilets and shower facilities were very clean, modern and attractive. We only stayed for 1 night but it was one of the best sites we have stayed at. I would highly recommend this site.

The site is small but has great facilities, very clean showers which operate normally not the times push button ones we have used elsewhere. The communal kitchen is a real bonus with everything you would find in your own kitchen. We really appreciated the fully serviced pitch with constant water and drainage, saves time refilling the water tub. There is no shop on site and the nearest place for essentials is Buxton. There is a village pub a short walk away and I can recommend the food and warm welcome for dogs and their humans.

Toilets and showers were spotless. Pitches are a good size. Only downfall was not seeing any owners about even though we stayed 9 nights.

Thank you for your review, Lewis! I'm glad that you have enjoyed your stay with us and found the facilities spotless, it is always nice to get comments that I can pass on to the staff. I'm really sorry we did not get to catch your during your stay with us. We do not have a warden on site due to the size, we are up during the day at various intervals seeing to the cottages and cleaners, we also make an effort to say hello to anyone who is out and about. The toilets are cleaned daily and all the staff are more than happy to help with any queries. We also have site maintenance on site every day between 8am - 1pm Monday - Friday, and we are contactable via phone or email. We hope to welcome you back at some point in the future.

It's a nice site, not very big pitches though and we were under a big tree which made it a little dark. Next to a very busy road with tractors roaring up and down. The facilities are really nice and clean with good showers. Nice dog field to let your fur babies run off lead. Not too far from Buxton and other lovely places to visit. It is a definitely worth a visit. We would stay again as it's not far for us to come. Enjoyed our weekend very much.

This was a lovely little site and near the town of Buxton and Bakewell, which weren't too far away. The site's amenities were excellent and spotlessly clean. There was a small kitchen with a fridge and freezer. Also an electric hob and microwave. There was also a washing machine. Within the amenities building, there was some comfy chairs and a dining table that could be used with a TV. There was an enclosed dog field that was excellent for our dog to run about. Within the ground, there were also cottages for hire that could accommodate large or small family groups. Fantastic site and would highly recommend a visit.

We stayed here for two nights and were able to book two pitches next to each other with friends. The pitches are well spaced, but we were very grateful to have our MotorMover to get our van into the pitch as it was quite shallow. There are no views from the pitch but we were out and about a lot so it didn't matter too much. The facilities were EXCELLENT. I'm very particular, the wet/dry area were completely separate which meant no soggy feet, plenty of hooks and a chair to put towels and clothes on. There were no push button showers which is bliss. My only very minor comment would be there is no shelf in the shower for shampoo bottle etc, but as I say very minor. Many other campsites could learn a lesson from this site. It's the small things (like hooks and chairs) that makes such a difference!

This is a really nice site, very clean and well maintained. The facilities were perfect for the size of the site and I particularly liked the totally enclosed dog run! I will definitely be going back there as there are still loads of nearby walks and plenty of exploring in Buxton and Bakewell.

Excellent and hygienic facilities, lovely and clean. Site was lovely and in a good location for exploring the area. Only downside was no views from our hard standing, but if you're out and about all day that's not a problem.
