The family run site offers just five electric hardstanding pitches for tourers, along with five holiday homes. Keen fishermen can enjoy the two well-stocked coarse fishing lakes, whilst Bude Beach is just a 25 minute drive away along with the popular attraction of Milky Way Adventure Park!

About Thornbury Holiday Park
After a busy day exploring and enjoying the gorgeous local beaches, you can return to the rural tranquillity of lake views, fishing and beautiful sunsets. Set in the beautiful Devon countryside and on the border with Cornwall, the park is perfectly placed only 25 minutes from the coast and within easy reach of several seaside towns. There are just six large electric hardstanding pitches, each with a 10 amp hook up. Pitches are 8m x 5m, each welcoming campervans, motorhomes and caravans and up to four guests. The site also has five holiday lodges onsite, each sleeping either four or five guests with ensuite facilities and private verandas. Within a 25 minute drive of great attractions like Milky Way Adventure Park, there are plenty of family friendly attractions within easy reach. Return to the site and make sure to say hello to all the animals in the pet's corner, including the goats, chickens, bunnies and peacocks! Please note, campfires are not permitted. BBQs are allowed if they are raised off the ground. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay with up to two permitted per pitch.

Site facilities include a heated toilet/shower block and laundry area (coin operated). There is an outdoor play area, dog walking area and hen and duck eggs available. Two well stocked coarse fishing lakes are also on site.
In Holsworthy, a ten minute drive away, you will find Marks and Spencer's, the Blagdon Wharf Farm Shop and Cafe and The Golden Fleece pub.

Things to do on site and in the Holsworthy area
Just a 25 minute drive away, you will find the picturesque coastal resort of Bude. Summerleaze Beach is perfect for a day of swimming or sunbathing with Bude Sea Pool providing a nature sea pool away, great for those with kids.
For some family fun, The Milky Way Adventure Park is also a 25 minute drive away. Test your fear of heights on the Cosmic Typhoon, ride down the giant slides and visit The North Devon Bird of Prey Centre with raptors, buzzards and kestrels.
The Big Sheep is also ideal for all ages. The amusement park has rides like the Rampage Roller Coaster and The Twister, along with more gentle activities like swan lake pedalos, a tractor safari ride and farm yard animals you can meet and feed.
