About the site

Within a 30 minute walk of the coast, this family friendly glamping site offers an ideal base for days at the beach or a stop off before picking up the ferry to France. You can even hire a bike from the site and spend days cruising along the seafront. Guests can enjoy a stay in a cosy wooden yurt, each sleeping up to two adults and two children in a double bed, single and a camp bed. Bedding is included and there is also electric and heating to ensure you stay nice and cosy. For cooking up a tasty breakfast, there is a kettle, toaster, microwave oven, fridge and utensils. Outside of the wooden yurts is a deck with a table, chairs and a parasol and a fire pit for cooking and toasting marshmallows and to let you give you some heat when sitting outside. Shared facilities can be found for the yurts nearby. There is also a social area with a communal fire pit. Please note, these yurts are pet free but the site is dog friendly.

Daleacres Experience Freedom Glamping is open from 14/03 to 02/11 in 2025 and from 20/03 to 01/11 in 2026. Stay from £39/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Great stay, lovely area and close to walking trails, beach, zoo and shops. Absolutely prime location. The yurt was lovely, exceeded my expectations. Perfect for nature and relaxing weekend getaway. Warm enough for our stay in October. Reception staff are lovely and welcoming. Food truck is decent and there's a lovely guy who's runs it . The WiFi to the yurts/safari tents doesn't reach far enough and the toilets is around a 3/4 minute walk away. Recommended to bring a torch for late night toilet runs (is lit by lamps, but little ones can get spooked still). An extra disposable BBQ or 2 (1 provided). Extra logs needed if planning to have a firepit going more than twice.

A well situated site, with a nice clean toilet/shower/sink block. Walking distance of a pub and very close to Port Lympne safari park, which was a fantastic day out. The yurt was well equipped with a microwave, toaster, kettle, hob, fridge, double bed, sofa bed and a camp bed. Would highly recommend.

A note from the site themselves...

We wanted to keep the feel of the yurts, but to introduce wooden versions, which were designed and made on a farm in Wales. When it is quiet at night, sometimes you can hear the animals from the nearby Port Lympne Safari Park.
