Based on a quiet working farm, Shay Gate Farm Campsite looks out over countryside with access to great walks and bike rides. It's a dog and family friendly spot, 20 minutes from Skipton and 30 minutes from the beautiful Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For keen walkers and hikers, the Pennine Way is also only 20 minutes away. Campfires are welcome too, perfect for an evening under the stars!

We had a wonderful stay at Shay Gate Farm Campsite, it had great facilities and the campground itself was well kept and in a great location. It was really nice looking out over the countryside. Our 3 year old son loved running about freely and we felt safe letting him do so. Will return again.

Lovely, peaceful site with great facilities. Toilets were very clean and it is a very well maintained site. Will definitely be going back for a 2nd visit.

Lovely location with super views of the surrounding area. Clean facilities with a few toilets, two showers, urinal, chemical toilet waste disposal area and washing up zone. Firepits available to hire and wood/kindling to buy. Staff are efficient and friendly. Would say it's usually a peaceful site but we unfortunately chose the same weekend as a large camping group celebrating a birthday so it was noisier than we would have liked. No disrespect to the party group, just bad timing for us. Would highly recommend this campsite.

Nice and well spread out, with option to go where you wish. Loved the hot showers in the horse boxes, prob need another one for when it's busy though. Some lovely walks directly from the site and fantastic pub food about a mile away. Visited Wycoller and walked to the Atom all from home. Very quiet and peaceful too!
