This dog friendly site is a great choice for walkers and cyclists - near St Oswald's Way - and has its own bar with an undercover seating area for socialising outdoors and a playground for the kids. Chic bell tents for a hassle free stay, too.

First time staying here and would 100% return. Quite rustic showers and toilet facilities, but they are absolutely perfect! Gorgeous wee gin tin bar too. Couldn't recommend more highly x

This is a lovely little find, we loved our stay. The site had everything you needed, including a pop up bar and a food van, the site facilities were immaculate and the staff very friendly. Perfect location, beautiful walks from site. We will definitely return regularly, I can't remember ever feeling so relaxed... love it, love it, love it!

Really enjoyed this site, something for every age, plenty of space in between grass pitches. Loved the pop up bar and regular food van. Nice walk into Boulmer and lovely pub and beach. The fire pits are a brilliant touch. Used the showers - a bit open given the weather, but clean and with hot water. Will definitely visit again!

Lovely campsite with lots of space between vans/tents. Showers and toilets clean, lovely hot showers and great hand washing basins incorporated into the top of toilets. Easy to find as well signposted. Self check-in was a little confusing but very manageable. Looked like a great playground for children. Only a small issue - no warden present. There were also a few people who think the rules don't apply to them, so there were dogs running free and causing a few problems with other campers and dogs. But other than that, it was a great place to stay.

We stayed at Coast and Castles in October 2021. We were told when we booked that site was under development and had not been open very long, when we arrived on site it was obvious that this was true. Covid restrictions simplified the check in process and we found our pitch quickly and easily. Site facilities were brand new and well built, suiting the style of the site perfectly. The bar area had a 'festival' feel to it and was just what I needed after a long drive. The bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Facilities for children are good, they have plenty of space to play. This site is well suited to VW campervan camper. That said, the camp caters to all types of camping, they rent out large tents and glamping pods too. The site will continue to improve and expand over the next few years. Electric hook ups are promised for this year. I look forward to staying at the site again soon.

Stayed here in September 2021. The site had only been open 3 months yet they have achieved a lot. In the friendly natured pop up bar, we met the owners and locals giving a friendly guide to the area. Very accommodating to peoples needs. Will be happy to return in future. It had a wild camp feel to it which I hope they will keep in their future structure of the place.

What a fabulous find! This place is so lovely! Totally dog friendly, immaculate facilities and great pop-up bar. I booked last minute for 1 night, but loved it so much that I stayed another! Would definitely stay again!

Had two nights in a bell tent with my partner and the dog. Tent was spot on and being able to sleep in an actual bed in a tent was fabulous! Staff are friendly and helpful, locals and other campers were so nice! As it's a work in progress, here are a couple of suggestions: There are no disabled facilities that I noticed - such as hand rails in toilets/showers, a wider toilet/shower with a ramp for wheelchair users, something to indicate there's a kerb from the grass towards the bar. I'd also suggest brighter lines on the glamping tents or lights when electricity is connected. Definitely coming back and definitely want a Patrol tent next time 😃 Thanks for having us!

First time camping and had the best time, with my parents and my son. The location is perfect. We stayed in the site's yurts and they were ideal. The yurt was fully set up with everything ready for us to have a great camping experience. The staff were also very accommodating and very friendly, will definitely look at booking again. Thank you Coast and Castles camping!!

We stayed at Coast and Castles in Boulmer in the summer and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The booking process was so simple and straightforward. We live nearby but wanted the children to experience camping/glamping and this site was just perfect. We stayed in the patrol tent, it was so spacious and had everything we needed. The park was great, dog friendly and the gin tin was an added bonus. The site is situated close to the beach with a shop nearby too. We couldn't fault our stay, even the rain didn't dampen our holiday! We really look forward to booking again, thank you for making our first family camping experience a super one!

The hosts were amazing and helped us out with anything we needed. As a family of 4, we spent 2 nights at Coast and Castles Campsite on it's opening weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although the weather was dull it didn't dampen our time spent at the campsite, the kids loved all of the open space and play park while me and my husband enjoyed relaxing in the pop up bar watching the kids play. We are looking forward to booking in again for this year and this time with our new addition to the family, our puppy, who will love all of the open space and as it is a dog friendly site, will love making new friends the same way our boys did. We had a really friendly welcome and could not fault anything - even the slight hiccup with plumbing was combated with portaloos which were well stocked and cleaned regularly. Thank you again and look forward to seeing you soon.
