Peaceful caravan site not far from Oban and dog friendly
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Caravan site very peaceful, not too far from the beach but I have mobility issues, so needed to be driven to other campsite to access the beach.
Toilets and facilities were excellent, Ii asked to be near the toilet and shower block and my request was acknowledged. A beautiful part of Scotland within an hour's drive from Oban, Fort William and Glencoe. Would highly recommend.

Lovely site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Although we didn't see any staff, self check in was quick and easy.
The site is well maintained with spotless facilities, very chilled and peaceful.

Clean showers, peaceful, beach close by, restaurant and shop within walking distance. Oban twenty minutes drive away, would definitely stay again.

Lovely site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Lovely site. Very quiet.
Plenty of space between each van so didn't feel squashed in or overlooked by other people. Never saw anyone in reception but there was a mobile number if you needed assistance. A place for brochures to provide information on what's in the area would be good. I found a few walks and places to visit by chance.
The facilities were good. Separate showers with toilet and sink. Also separate WC. The toilet and showers were always clean. The only downside was having to go to sister park for laundry. On each of 3 occasions I went, the machines were in use.

Excellent
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Well, to fault this site would be wrong because it was perfect and value for money was exceptional.
The only thing I could say, and it's in the category of feedback toward perfection rather than a need for improvement, was the shower being with the toilet always makes it hard to drop your shorts for a "use", as the water left from the showers leaves the floor permanently wet. Plus, following someone in for a shower after they had a stinky, turns the entire cubicle into a warm, steamy, smelling room! Just not pleasant but as I say not a criticism, just a heads up if you change the shower block, I think combined showers and toilets are just opposite ones for cleaner ones!

Great site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Well maintained site in a good location for accessing areas nearby. Love the proximity to the beach with a great view of the bay.
We came to this site due to limited availability at our preferred sites. That was to our benefit as we will definitely come back here. Good local bus service means you can leave the car and go into Oban.
The only slight negative is the poor ventilation in the shower/toilet cubicles. Due to the hot weather these became like a sauna. However, this may be a benefit in the normally colder months that Scotland sees much more of.

Fabulous place
Glamping Pod - Glencoe Ensuite Glamping Pods with Hot Tub Aug 2025 We loved our stay here. The pod was cosy, comfortable and very private. Because it was positioned at the far end of the park, it was also very peaceful. We enjoyed all the facilities and although we had a small shower in our pod, we were pleased that we could use the more spacious shower block as well, if we wished.
The park grounds are immaculate and the wardens are around all the time keeping it that way. They were all incredibly friendly and helpful too. The sister site a few hundred yards along the road has access to the beach and overall, the location was fantastic for us. Less than 10 miles from Oban and lots of nice quiet roads around for easy cycling. The local cafes and restaurant were within walking distance. We enjoyed it so much we are already planning to return.

Argyll glamping
Glamping Pod - Argyll Ensuite Glamping Pods with Hot Tub Jul 2025 Lovely glamping pod overlooking the trees with mountain view. Private and peaceful.
Pod was like a studio apartment lodge. Comfortable bed. Hot tub was great. Firepit and outdoor seating area too. Had issue with the shower which was attended to and repaired very promptly. Only suggestion would be to have a mattress protector as well as a sheet on the bed. Short walk to beautiful beach.
Shop in the village was well stocked. Short drive to Oban centre.

Nice site, good location
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2025 A nice site with all the facilities you require. Shower block is no frills but totally functional clean and well maintained. This is not a criticism. Nice location with access to beach through campsite opposite. Has everything you need for a nice holiday.
The pods looked amazing from what we saw. Good location to get to Oban and Glencoe. Highly recommend

Lovely and very clean
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2025 Brilliant site, very billed and relaxing. Facilities were great also and very clean.
We came with our 7year old and she's so had a great time.

Superb 2 nights at Highfield Holidays in Pod with hot tub and dog friendly
Glamping Pod - Highlander Ensuite Glamping Pods with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly) Jul 2025 Pod was amazing, cozy and comfortable. Had everything you need for self catering. Bed was so comfy and great pillows.Thank you for complimentary kitchen cleaning box with washing up liquid, cloths and dish towels. Hot tub was excellent and easy to follow instructions. Beautiful location few miles to Oban and few minutes across the road to a lovely beach which my dog especially loved. All in all a relaxing few nights in Benderloch . Cleanliness was near 100 % but visible dog hairs on mat outside from previous
campers which got trampled inside

Lovely site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2025 Highfield say they have a washing machine however, this is located on their sister site at Tralee Bay which is approximately 500 yards away.
Visitors attending the site at Tralee Bay should be aware it has no toilet facilities whilst you wait for your washing. The nearest bus stop to Highfields is a good 12 minute walk away but once in Oban, you can reach anywhere in the Highlands.
The fish and chip shack at Tralee Bay Park is a must for a visit and all in all, we had a lovely relaxing stay.

Great weekend in our motor home

Lovely, well maintained, friendly
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2025 We stayed here for 5 nights, and had a fantastic time, the facilities and grounds were immaculately kept, and we had a very peaceful holiday.
The kids loved the walk down to the beach and surrounding area.

Good location and good facilities
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Good location, close to the beach.
It was amazing to see cows walking along beach beside you enjoying the weather and they seem free to roam around between the fields and beach. Quite a surprise when we first arrived with the dogs and happy to say they didn't appear phased by visitors or dogs playing in the sea!
Good toilet and shower facilities available.

Tranquil Tralee!
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 A wonderfully peaceful and well sited touring park closed to the lovely Tralee Beach.
Perfect location for walking and cycling and Route 78 Oban to Fort William is just a couple of hundred metres away. The nearest shop is within easy walking distance and also carries a host of caravan and motorhome and beachy related goods. The site is well well maintained and properly set up for filling/emptying the van.
Everything was easy and just worked and the bustling town is Oban is only 15 mins drive away.

Safari Tent - Deluxe Safari Tents Jul 2025 Our holiday stay in the deluxe safari tent was faultless. Absolutely everything we needed for a fab family stay with our children (7yo and 4yo). Really nice site and the beach being a short walk was ideal - via the small playground in the neighbouring site.
Lots of activities and places to visit nearby too.
