Galloway Point Holiday Park is set less than a mile from a beach and the pretty seaside village of Portpatrick, along the south west edge of Scotland. Here many pitches enjoy views of the Irish Sea or the hazy Mountains of Mourne and there are also en-suite pods and holiday homes to try. It's an ideal launching point for days out exploring Scotland's castles, pretty coastline and beaches. Or, taking an easy trip over to Ireland to see even more.
This is a quiet and tranquil site, set within a beautiful area, where you'll find both well kept facilities and great views. There are hardstanding and grass pitches, all well manicured and spacious with some offering stunning sea views. Fancy glamping? Try one of the site's top notch en-suite pods, which include a private deck, plus inside you'll find your own private shower and kitchen facilities with a toaster, kettle for your morning cuppa, and all the crockery and glassware you need. If you're looking for a holiday home, there are a selection of spacious homes for rent and purchase on site, set in tranquil surroundings and offering tempting views. Sorry no pets allowed in glamping pods or rental holiday homes.
The site is normally open from early March to early November. Touring pitches will reopen after the Coronavirus lockdown on July 15th. Touring guests will need their own onboard facilities as the shower and toilet block will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
Grass pitches for tourers and motorhomes, each including an electric hook-up and sea views.
Hardstanding pitches with EHUs. These are closer to the shower block than the grass pitches, which may suit guests with mobility concerns.
