Riverside Chalet and Caravan Park is next to the River Blackwater, with some of the Munro mountains almost on your doorstep, plus great fishing, hiking and mountain biking at the Strathpuffer 24. Down by the river you can watch the local heron who loves to fish or try swimming and paddling. Also in reach are Loch Ness, the Cairngorms and the lovely Isle of Skye.

This site is very quiet and set next to the tranquil River Blackwater, offering a relaxing break where you can enjoy nature at its best. You'll be just a short way from the main road to Ullapool, where you can easily catch a ferry to the Scottish Isles. It's also a short drive to Inverness and Loch Ness. All 27 pitches here are on grass, with almost half offering the convenience of electric hook-up. Due to the soft ground, they're suited to lighter tourers only (no more than four wheels and excluding twin axles). Campervans, caravans and motorhomes welcome. Come and enjoy the camp from a raised perspective in the glamping eagle's nest, where you can try a totally hassle free stay in a furnished bell tent. You'll have heating, electric and your own private fenced garden where you can BBQ and watch the world go by.

This is a great place to get active, with top notch hiking for those keen to explore the Munro mountains where you can try your hand at Munro bagging!
A short walk from the campsite will allow you to pick up many walking trails, including the glorious Rogie Falls where you might be lucky enough to see salmon leaping, depending on time of the year.
Just two miles away is Moy Rock, a favourite place for climbers. The famous Strathpuffer mountain bike race event is held just a short walk away from site so there are great mountain bike trails also. There is a bike rental shop in Strathpeffer (two miles away).
The site is on the North Coast 500, so why not take the road trip of a lifetime?
If you're keen to fish, the river is temptingly close and you can also try your luck with salmon and trout in the River Contin.
