Motorhome - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

This is a lovely little campsite with a friendly welcome and simple but good facilities. The campsite itself is quiet, even with the background noise of the peacock during the spring and summer months, although earplugs would be advised for any light sleepers! The shower was lovely and clean and the water nice and hot. The bonus of Wi-Fi throughout meant we could connect our firestick and stream the French open, so we were very happy. We had originally booked a non electric pitch as this was all that was available on the campsites' website, but we were able to be upgraded to the last electric pitch once we arrived, which was fantastic. The proximity to the train station is fantastic for getting out if you don't want to drive. I would recommend Rhean's coffee shop (on the way to the castle) for coffee and cake. We would definitely recommend this site and hope to return as we still have so much left to explore.

Fabulous dog/farm walk with lots of animals to see and great field for the dog. Proximity to station great for heading to Eastbourne or Hastings direction. Site itself is squeezed off a main road between a couple of business parks, but explore the farm walk and it feels like a different site. Friendly reception with a good little shop. Lots of rules and regs, but aimed at making it an enjoyable stay for all.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

This is a lovely peaceful site with a lovely dog walk onsite. It was lovely walking through the animals and watching the birds. Although we were right next to them we never got woken up by the cockerel as I read in a previous review. The facilities are very clean and the showers are some of the best I have used. The site is not too big so don't have to walk miles to get to the toilet block and showers. Over all a lovely site will be back.

Single Axle Caravan - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

Nice little site. Very friendly. Seem to have a lot of regulars with seasonal pitches. Booked non electric pitch as electric wasn't available when we booked, but asked at check-in if there were any cancellations, and they found us an electric pitch. That was good as we were there for 6 nights.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to welcoming you back.

Very quiet and in walking distance to Pevensey Castle

When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner of the camp. He was very friendly and helpful. The camp itself was excellent it was very clean and and near all amenities. We had a lovely stay there and will most definitely be going back again.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

This site is perfect for de-stressing. Lovely walks passed the goats, pigs, guinea foul. Peacocks (they love showing of their feathers) Shetland ponies. Donkeys. Chickens etc. Buy some food from reception for the 2 or 4 legged friends. A goat had issue with my jeans and bit them. My wife thought it was funny. It was. I'm not going to reveal the plot we were as we are rebooking in August. Staff super friendly and helpful. Had issue with electric hook-up. But swiftly sorted. Caught train by very nearby station at Westham/Pevensey. 2 stops to Eastbourne centre. 2 adults return - 9 quid.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

Stayed for the bank holiday weekend. Received a warm welcome. Pitch nice and tidy and clearly marked. Original wash block is a bit dated, but new wash block next to it was excellent. Lots of seasonal pitches and a community spirit among them. Lovely dog walk on site. Dog field is not fenced in on all sides and a wet ditch at one end that our Springer found. Electrics good, water points were plenty. Will come again.

The welcome at the site was extremely friendly. We really enjoyed the tranquillity. The facilities, although a bit dated, are well-maintained and clean. The adjacent farm area with its animals is nicely laid out, and we were able to easily organize our tours from here using public transport. Translated from German.

A lovely and well kept, adult only site, with plenty of historical places nearby and Eastbourne only a 6 min drive. Staff are lovely and warden was a very helpful man. Facilities are very clean and a lovely nature walk with farm animals and exotic birds along the way to the fishing pond.

This was a great little site which was situated in a very central location for sightseeing and visiting historic sites of interest. We used it as a base and were very happy with it. Beautifully kept, friendly helpful staff on hand if needed. Lovely farm with a dog walking field which we used quite a bit.

Very nice site quite and well located. Adults only site. Nice size grass pitches. They have an animal walk which has chickens, peacocks, ducks, sheep, horses, Shetland ponies and pigs. All nice to see on a little walk. The showers are individual rooms and are kept clean. If you want a quiet, relaxing place to stay, I would recommend Fairfields.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesApr 2025

We spent a lovely week here in April. We had been looking for an adult-only campsite as we'd be staying during the Easter holidays, and were looking forward to some peace and quiet. Fairfields Farm has this in spades! The only sounds you can hear are the various bird calls from the farm, where there is a walk you can take to see all the birds and animals - from peacocks and turkeys, to goats and sheep. All the facilities were great, especially the piping hot showers. There's a well-stocked on-site shop, laundry, washing up area, showers, toilets and waste disposal so no matter your set up everything is taken care of. Our pitch, and it seemed a few others, were on a slant but nothing levelling ramps can't handle. Every member of staff we spoke to was incredibly welcoming and friendly and we had a very relaxing week! A few little suggestions - emptying the grey waste from our campervan was a little tricky as the drain was close to a fence and this has a tap on it, a drive-over one would have been preferable. The shower ceilings could do with a clean as all had dusty cobwebs hanging from them (but the lovely hot showers made up for this!). Finally, I always prefer an indoor washing up area as it feels more clean and would have provided shelter from the winds blowing away fairy liquid bubbles one evening! But all of these are very minor and didn't really impact our stay. We highly recommend this place and would love to return for another stay!

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

Would totally recommend Fairfields Farm. Just a couple of pointers, that to get to the dog walking field, you have to get your dog through the Farm Walk (which is lovely by the way) but with a reactive dog, it can be tricky! The Farm Walk is fantastically well maintained with pigs, sheep, ponies, horses and lots of birds to see and interact with. Only thing with the birds, cockerels are very noisy at 4 in the morning and there are a few of them! Also peacocks & guinea fowl are very noisy all day too. Sounds like I'm moaning but I'm not. We had a great stay, just letting people know what to expect as we didn't. lol. Oh, the staff/owners are exceptional too!

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

Mostly peaceful site, although there was a distant road noise during the night Saturday. Friendly wardens and easy check in. Well spaced pitches, clean bathroom and shower, although they do need updating. Enjoyed the farm walk. Information about the bridal paths to Pevensey Bay and Sovereign Harbour would be good. There is a bus stop outside the site but we took the 99 bus from the other side of the village to Sovereign Harbour, 20 minutes away. The village of Westham is delightful and just 5 minutes walk. Also, Pevensey Castle, which we had visited before. There are tea rooms and pubs in the village. We enjoyed our weekend and so did the dog.

Beautiful site. Even though we had heavy rain on two nights, the grass areas remained firm and did not turn into a quagmire. Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Will return next year. Thank you.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

My boyfriend and I stayed here as our first camping trip together. It was a brilliant experience. The site is excellent for beginners as it's fairly small and easy to navigate. We loved the farm walk and being able to feed the animals, especially the Shetland ponies! Facilities were close by and very clean. All staff were very welcoming and helpful too. The only downside is that we couldn't find a walkable grocery store to purchase things like sausages for our tea so we travelled to the gorgeous Hastings old town for the day and did some grocery shopping on our way back (definitely would recommend!) Overall an excellent stay and I would love to camp here again, (when we have purchased a more waterproof tent!)
