Nestled on the edge of the charming town of Corwen, Gaerhyfryd Caravan Site is located just off the A5 and has a range of fully serviced and hardstanding pitches for tourers. Surrounded by glorious countryside, it's also a good base for trips to Snowdonia, Bala Lake and Llangollen.

Well maintained site, in a quiet and tranquil area. Very clean all round, including toilets, showers, wash up area, laundry room - all spotless. All pitches included, electric, water, TV point, and grey waste disposal. Surrounding fields had cows, calves and highland cows. Some red kites swooping about. Couple of nice walks, for dogs too. 10 minute walking distance to a organic farm shop, selling local buffalo meat. The couple running the site were very nice and helpful. Will definitely return! We stayed for 3 nights and would stay again. Great location for us as we wanted to visit Llyn Brenig, Corwen and the Rhug Farm shop and cafe that we have driven past so many times in the past. On arrival, we didn't see any kind of reception, so proceeded to our pitch number which we were sent by email. I think we possibly should have waited near the toilet block. It would be helpful to have a sign at the welcome area for new arrivals. The site was lovely and peaceful, we could walk to the Rhug Estate in 10-15 mins with our older dog and there was a grassy area at the entrance to the site (on a hill) where we could let our dog off for a little run. The facilities were slightly dated, but clean and the showers stayed on so no pushing the button for water every few seconds. I liked that I could use my own hair dryer in the bathroom too. I would recommend the site for anyone wanting to see the surrounding area, we had everything we needed and even put our awning up without any problems using rock pegs on the hardstanding.

Quiet, clean, more than enough space, top price, very friendly people. We came late on a Monday and were hungry. Asking for the nearest pub, the owner did not only recommend a top pub, but also called them for us to make sure they are open and still serving food 👍🏻🤩

2nd time visiting here and again we have not been disappointed. Daughter had a brilliant time as there was an area where she could play football. Perfect for relaxing and will be visiting again, thank you.

The site itself is tranquil. Beautiful scenery, immaculate facilities, and as previously mentioned the warden, Billy is very efficient and helpful, but also very friendly. We will definitely return, it's the perfect relaxation destination.

A very clean and tidy park, with great facilities and fully serviced hard standing pitches. Very peaceful in a lovely rural setting. Billy, the owner/Warden, was very friendly and helpful. Very good WiFi too. All walkways lit up at night. A nice base to explore the Snowdonia area. Very well maintained, with plenty of room.

A perfect small site. Clean and tidy. Large fully serviced tidy pitches. Spotless toilets and showers. With a warm welcome from site manager Billy who kept checking everything was ok throughout our stay.

Great stay at Gaerhyfryd. Location was wonderful - just off the main road but close enough to amenities with a short drive, surrounded by the peaceful countryside and most beautiful farm animals. The site was very clean and tidy, with Billy the Site Warden, who was extremely helpful and there should you need him. Only downfall would be the lack of bins to separate rubbish into and the automatic lights in the ladies showers that go off within minutes of getting into the shower and being unable to trigger the sensor from within!

Billy, Billy, Billy. What a lovely man, there to help with anything and everything. Really enjoyed our time here and would return. Extremely clean facilities and well maintained site. Unfortunately couldn't try out our awning due to the weather, but not a problem, didn't really need it, just fancied a play. Thank you so much x

First time testing our camper and new to camping. This campsite was great, very tidy with all necessary amenities and a facility for our pooch to be walked. Very clean shower/toilet/washing block. Billy greeted us and gave excellent support throughout the stay.

Well what can I say, we had a lovely pitch in a corner with cows and sheep in fields around us. Loved waking up to that view! Lovely welcome from Billy, who is always on hand to help. He could be seen walking the park checking on the facilities. With spending a lot of my life in the hospitality trade, this is a true sign of a good manager. Like some have said, the shower and toilet facilities are dated, however Billy keeps them very clean and tidy. We would definitely recommend and return.

Had a fab 2 days here, campsite lovely. Well spaced pitches, toilet block lovely and clean. Billy was very pleasant and welcoming, showed us to our pitch and had a chat. Had a great time in Wales, definitely will come back 😊

Perfect. Quiet. Spotless facilities. Better shower than mine at home! Good size pitch. Beautiful views. Dogs very welcome. Decent walk to farm shop and cafe. Organic foods and drinks with organic prices to match! Brilliant welcome. Will be back. 14 year old enjoyed the little football pitch. He would have liked a mate. I was happy he couldn't find any 🤣

Touring caravan, stayed for 4 nights. Great location, scenery, spotlessly clean, free decent Wi-Fi. The site manager, Billy is extremely friendly and welcoming - went out of his way to help us access and exit the site which was very much appreciated. Thank you, will definitely return.
