Forest View is a quiet site nestled in the Welsh countryside welcoming both families and dogs! The site offers grass pitches with the option of electric for tents and campervans, choose your pitch upon arrival! Guests can look forward to waking up to a cooked Welsh breakfast made by the owner, or feasting on a tasty meal made in the communal BBQ hut! Also, the site is next to the Dyfnant Forest, home to a range of walking and cycling routes.

A family friendly campsite with fantastic views of the Dyfnant Forest from your pitch. Site owners, Jayne and Neville, are on hand to greet you, show you around the site and help with anything you may need, including breakfast! The site offers just 13 grass pitches for tents and small campervans up to 6.8m with optional 6 amp electric hook up. Guests may choose where to pitch upon arrival with plenty of space in between each pitch. You are welcome to bring a gazebo, awning or pup tent with you. With countless walking and cycling routes direct from the site, it's the perfect base for any keen walkers and explorers. Even better, you can fuel your day of exploring by pre-ordering a cooked Welsh breakfast from the site owners to enjoy from your pitch the next morning. Or finish the day cooking up a tasty meal with your loved ones in the communal BBQ hut. This secluded site is just ten minutes from Lake Vyrnwy where you can hike or cycle around the RSPB protected woodlands whilst wildlife spotting, or rent a canoe or kayak for a different point of view. Or, Snowdonia National Park is reachable within a 45 minute drive for a day out exploring! The site offers BBQs and fire pits to borrow, fuel must be purchased onsite. Pets are more than welcome, with up to two dogs included in your pitch price!

There is plenty to do around the site, especially for those who are avid walkers and cyclists! With trails of the Dyfnant Forest on your doorstep and paths around Lake Vyrnwy (10 minutes) there is plenty to explore. The woodland around Lake Vyrnwy is RSPB protected so be sure to lookout for some wildlife.
National Trust- Powis Castle and Gardens is just a 20 minute drive away, a must whilst you are in the area. Built by medieval Welsh princes, and now the home to the Herbert family it's lovely to walk around, and the gardens are spectacular with Italian themes and century old apple trees.
Or, to see some more of Wales' beauty visit Pistyll Rhaeadr (35 minutes), the highest waterfall in England and Wales! Don't worry it's only a short walk from the car park but it will be worth it for the breathtaking views.
