Clear filters Wonderful stay
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 Wonderful family stay at this family-run campsite.
The owners couldn't have been more cheerful and helpful at checking in. Very clean well-kept site. Our little ones loved having the playground close to our pitch.
Great location with a stroll to the beach and a great pub, with good food.
Well stocked shop too. We will definitely return :)

Fantastic bank holiday stay
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 Great location, friendly staff, loads of room for the kids to range. Spotless facilities. Nice pub 5 min walk away. SW coast path in either direction from the site is spectacular. Loved it.
One small negative - nothing specific to the site. If considering cycling into Weymouth, the main road through Osmington into town isn't great for anyone other than adult cyclists. We rode down with two kids (8 & 13) and chose to walk back along the coastal path pushing the bikes (nuts I know) rather than risk them back up the main road.
Location good VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 The location is good, shower/ toilet block was clean and whole site looked after well. The staff were also friendly.
My only issue was the noise from all the other campers. I know you can't control people, however it ruined it for me. The biggest reason for picking this site was because it stated that it was only for families and couples. This was not the case, it was full of big groups, playing music until 12:30pm at night! Nobody was policing this or checking it. There were also dogs running wild.
As a family we were looking for a quiet spot to relax and chill and escape from life. If this is your requirement, go someone else.

The perfect scenic getaway
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 We had the perfect time staying at Rosewall Camping. It has a beautiful sea view and it isn't far to travel down to the coast. We walked down to The Smuggler's Inn, less than 10 minutes walk along a footpath, an excellent pub that has a wide selection of drinks and great food - this was the perfect addition to our trip. The facilities are very clean, and the showers have hot water. We would certainly visit again, and so would our dog!

A lovely spot, great walking straight from the site
Backpacker Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 I booked 2 nights after the bank holiday madness had ended so the site was very quiet, which suited me. I'm sure its great fun when its packed too. Very clean loos and showers, relaxed vibe but with a warden on site so any late night noisy shenanigans would be sorted I'm sure.
You can walk out onto the coastal path from the bottom of the field, which is a luxury. Fires are allowed on a raised pit or brazier, which I didn't realise when booking.
Had a very relaxing 2 nights under lovely dark skies, will certainly come here again.
Amazing campsite
Aug 2022 This is the second time staying at Rosewall Campsite. The location is amazing (with great sea views), the staff were really helpful and friendly, the facilities are clean and the whole campsite is really welcoming. Will definitely be coming back again soon. Thank you very much!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Beautiful location and beautiful grounds! About 10min drive to Weymouth. Lovely walk to local pub and shingle beach. Very clean, friendly staff on arrival and great facilities!

Lovely pub nearby, Co-op and horse riding nearby too. Friendly and helpful janitors.
No electric hook ups, which was suitable for us. There are some flat pitches, and others are on a hill.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Absolutely loved the location, close to the wonderful Smugglers Inn and the lovely Ringstead Bay. Also loved the fact you can choose where you want to pitch and that the tents had enough space away from other campers.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Lovely campsite, local to Smugglers Inn. There was freshly cooked food you could buy at the campsite if you don't fancy cooking. Facilities were clean, with plenty of them for the size of the campsite. Electric points and USB points to charge phones. Laundry room. We had a fabulous time!

Stunning sea views and peaceful
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Rosewall is in a beautiful location with magnificent sea views. The campsite is very quiet and the staff are very helpful. The toilets and showers are clean.
One downside was that the shop closes a bit too early (5pm) and although they have essential camping stuff, they could increase the quantity and variety of groceries. They didn't have any vegetables and I'd expect to have more local or organic meat and dairy.
