About the site


Ideal for keen walkers and nature lovers, this peaceful site is set in Queen Elizabeth Forest Park along the West Highland Way, offering easy access to hiking, cycling trails and incredible mountain views. Campers can choose from 60 non electric grass pitches across three camping areas, including a quiet field. There are also non electric hardstanding pitches for campervans only. Stay in one of two ready tents for two, complete with a mattress, or opt for one of four furnished bell tents with two single beds, a coffee table, and private decking. Glampers can pick between two types of hiker pods, both with camp beds and radiators (linen available to hire), or upgrade to deluxe pods with thick mattresses, storage, a radiator, and a kettle. For extra comfort, ensuite chalet rooms are available with a double bed, two singles, and a private bathroom. The communal camper kitchen is perfect for your morning brew, or enjoy hearty meals, a refreshing drink and live summer music at the onsite bar and restaurant! You are just five minutes from the Falls of Falloch and 30 minutes from the Loch Tulla Viewpoint, both offering stunning views and walks. Sorry, the site does not allow open fires. Up to two dogs are welcome onsite, but must be kept on leads.

Onsite, you will find a facilities block with toilets and hot shower blocks. There is a washing up area, a communal kitchen and guests will also have access to a laundry and drying room.

If you fancy a hearty meal or a refreshing drink, head to The Stagger Inn, the bar and restaurant onsite with free WiFi and live entertainment. They offer a variety of dishes made with local ingredients and suppliers all day long!

For those everyday essentials, you will find an onsite shop selling a range of camping equipment.

Things to do on site and in the Arrochar area

For watersports enthusiasts, Loch Lomond is only a five minute drive away and home to the Loch Lomond Wakeboard Centre. Hire a paddleboard or kayak, or if you're after more excitement, try wakeboarding, waterskiing, wake surfing, a Ringo ride, or even a speedboat trip.

Head to the Falls of Falloch, a short five minute drive and home to some incredible waterfalls!

Located along the West Highland Way route, the site is ideal for those wanting to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park on foot or by taking a 45 minute drive. The stunning Falls of Falloch are just a 40 minute walk from the site and a great scenic route for you and your furry friend.

If you fancy something more relaxed, head to Cruise Loch Lomond Ltd (20 minutes) and hop aboard a gentle boat trip around the loch, where you'll learn about the area's rich Viking and clan history.
