Motorhome - Electric Grass and Gravel Pitches Sep 2023 A lovely, well laid out site. Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean. A warm welcome at reception and only £26 for the night.
The only drawback were the potholes on the approach lane that could do with attention, but would happily stay again.

I understand the concern about the track leading to the campsite. We don't own the track. It is owned by a mining company who subleases the surrounding land including the track to a charity. We have asked permission to tarmac the road but the charity has refused.
We continually fill in potholes with road planning. This has to be done when there is dry weather. Of late we haven't had any and in fact we had a months rain in 6 hours last week.
We are hoping to meet with the charity CEO over the winter to see if we can get the decision changed. We will continue to maintain the track and through most of the season, the track is fine.
A beautiful and peaceful site
Motorhome - Electric Grass and Gravel Pitches Sep 2023 This site is beautifully maintained, the ablutions are the best I’ve seen. The owners are great and very attentive. The site is very peaceful and tranquil. We stayed an extra night and would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 So friendly and welcoming. Campsite, toilets and showers are very nice and clean.
A coffee van came a couple of mornings, lovely coffee and croissants and a van came serving fish and chips which was great 😁
Literally 5 minutes from Dartmoor National Park. Also not far from the village either.
Felt like we could've stayed extra days, we would definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back.

Great place to stay, electric hook-up and clean bathrooms
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Little nice campsite with very clean bathrooms. The owners are very supportive and help you find nice places close by.
The great advantage for this site was that every place had its own electric hook-up. This is so convenient. In the morning there was a coffee and breakfast service. We also had the luck to enjoy the BBQ from a local farmer.

Great site
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass and Gravel Pitches Aug 2023 Lovely site with very clean toilets and showers. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The showers and toilet facilities were 5 star and exceptionally clean. I would recommend staying here if you want a site that is quiet and clean. The only one negative is that it rained heavily and our awing got flooded, but that couldn't be helped. The staff were friendly and helpful.
