Good location for our weekend visit - quiet (early March) and easy to walk to town etc.
Easy to get to main beaches.
Great shower blocks and good size pitches.
Would go back.

We loved it here. It only didn't get a 100% rating because of the proximity to the road which is out of their control, but they have done everything in their power to minimise the impact of this, with constructed high banks etc.
It wasn't bad, barely worth a mention, to stop us from coming back, or stop us enjoying cooking in the heated hut, or enjoying the amazing walks from the site. The friendly office staff provided laminated comprehensive guides to 4 walks. I took the long walk to the nature reserve and saw a lot of wildlife on the way. I was thrilled to see and hear larks (no road noise here!). The shower facilities were modern, clean and warm and private. Loo, shower and basin all together, very nice. I am very particular about drinking water
and was thrilled to learn that their water is from a spring. The dog shower provided even had hot water!
This is up there as one of our favourite sites. We had our own tap and drain too.
