Castle Point Caravan and Camping Site is a family friendly, coastal site with sea views, 15 minutes from Dalbeattie. The site offers electric grass pitches for tents, trailer tents, campervans and caravans, as well as electric hardstanding motorhome pitches. Enjoy the use of the onsite laundry facilities, kids' play area and bike storage, or head out to some of the many nearby beaches, Rockcliffe or Sandyhills (5 minutes). Dogs are welcome.

A lovely site in a great location. The facilities are relatively basic (toilets, showers, waste disposal, wash up area, laundry) but everything was very clean. There is a small shop with snacks. As well as the amazing views and access to great walks and cycling, the best thing about this site is the friendliness and helpfulness of the guys that run it. They helped me out with lots of little things and nothing seemed too much trouble. I really appreciated it. A great stay.

Keep it quiet - don’t want too many people to know about this site! We had an excellent time at the friendly, clean and well positioned site. Good, clean facilities and flat, well spaced pitches. As a bonus - there is so little air pollution; star gazing is amazing!!

Great location with views of Rough Island and Rockcliffe. Good facilities and local shop less than 5 mins drive away. Nice easy walk to Kippford where there a couple of pubs and places to eat.

Great overnight stay here, just loved the rural location, shoreline walks and views of the estuary and hills beyond. Staff welcoming and helpful. Definitely will return to such a lovely location.
