First Family Camping Trip
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2026 The site itself is easy to find and the facilities are fantastic and most importantly super clean. The shop is well stocked for items you may have forgotten. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It is in the process of building new facilities which, having used the one new building that is built so far, will be fantastic. All in all a wonderful first trip and we hope to back in the near future for longer and more exploration.

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2026 As an avid camper I can honestly say this is one oft he best campsites I have ever stayed on. It is beautifully set out, modern facilities, spotlessly clean, great showers, hairdryer, clean camping kitchen, laundrette, well stocked shop and even a bacon sandwich van....I could go on and on
Great location for walks and not too far from Fort William itself. Also the pub/restaurant is 300 metres away which was very handy and its dog friendly.
Will definitely be staying here again

Excellent stay
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2026 Excellent site, have stayed previously after completing Munros. The site is very clean and tidy, spaces are more than adequate. Each area has its own shower block etc and are also clean and tidy. Cubicles have a shower, toilet and sink in some, which is very good.
We stayed when opening was only partial, so reception and restaurant still closed, but a very nice stay regardless. We knew this before travelling, as the website has all information. There's a local bar which has live music only 20 mins up the road should you want to eat out somewhere different.
Will definitely be back for another stay. We believe it's value for the price and location.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2025 Fantastic campsite in an amazing location. So much to do in one place, this was the second time we have been, as we ran out of time to do/visit everything the first time.
The shop has everything you need, from food, to walking gear and camp essentials. The site has a lovely park for the kids and the site restaurant is lovely.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2025 A lovely site at the foot of Ben Nevis which is great to take in. There is a little shop with a good selection of food gifts and camping accessories. Also a breakfast bar in the morning. A nice added touch with picnic benches.
Showers and toilets clean. Liked the radio playing in the facilities too. This site is close to Jacobite train and lovely walk to Braveheart village. Only had 1 night here due to personal issues and had booked 2 nights, but unfortunately no refund was given, which was a shame.

Nice peaceful site, well laid out, with good facilities.
Soft pitch, first time all week I hadn't needed hard surface pegs.

4 night at the foot of the Ben Nevis

It is lovely waking up and seeing the Ben Nevis first thing.
Lovely staff. Well stocked shop, postbox, breakfast van and nice restaurant/bar close-by.

Only slight negative was difficulty in getting rock pegs to hold on hardstanding pitch for awning as it was very windy.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2025 The campsite is very picturesquely located at the foot of Ben Nevis. It's a great base for hiking, and the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre is very close.
We arrived a night earlier than planned and were desperately looking for a place to stay the night; electricity was important to us. Even though everything was fully booked, the receptionist and the groundskeeper worked together to find us a place to stay so we wouldn't have to drive on completely exhausted!
That's not something we can take for granted, as we discovered along the way.
Great place, great staff, great location!
