About the site

This family run glamping site sits just ten minutes from the market town of Brecon, with fantastic views towards the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains from your own decking. There are six accommodation options to choose from, all handcrafted from cedar wood and fully insulated, with woodburners to keep you comfortable in any season. Bedding, towels, tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, cloths and tea towels are provided, so you can settle in as soon as you arrive. Each pod has a seating area with a TV and DVD player, as well as French doors opening onto a private deck with outdoor seating and an electric hot tub. A great spot to enjoy the views! Y Cwtch, Y Glyd and Celyn are ideal for two adults, with convertible double beds and a kitchenette with a two plate hob, mini fridge, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, utensils, crockery, and cutlery. Shared facilities are nearby. The Black Mountain pod sleeps up to four (maximum two adults) with a double bed and an overhead bunk, both with memory foam mattresses. There is also a double sofa bed in the living area. Pen Y Fan pod sleeps two in a separate double bedroom. Both of these pods have ensuite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Outside, you'll find a charcoal BBQ. For a little more space, the lodge sleeps two in a separate bedroom and has central heating, a living area and a larger kitchen with an oven and fridge/freezer. Sorry, pets are not permitted in the glamping units. However, you may see dogs onsite as they are allowed on the touring pitches. BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised from the ground.

68 Degrees West Glamping is open from 01/01 to 20/12 and 29/12 to 31/12 in 2026 and all year round in 2027. Glamping from £97.14-£187/night for 2 people (depending on dates, 2-night minimum).

Guests staying in Y Cwtch, Y Glyd, Celyn or the grass touring pitches have access to a shared toilet and shower block. Both the men's and women's facilities have three showers, with hand soap, toiletries and toilet paper provided. There's also a hairdryer in the women's bathroom, and there is a separate accessible toilet and shower room.

The Pen Y Fan, Black Mountain and Lodge accommodation all have their own ensuite bathrooms with a shower, toilet and sink. Bedding and towels are provided.

For picking up essentials, there's a Spar five minutes away by car. The site is also next door to Cradoc Golf Club, where you can pop in for a drink or something to eat in the clubhouse.

Such a lovely, wonderful weekend with glorious weather. Such a beautiful setting and scenery with Pen y Fan in our line of sight. Had a few issues with wasps (perhaps its the season) but too many to deal with at one stage, so had to work my pest control magic. Other than that, a relaxing, therapeutic and glorious glamping experience. The stargazing at night given the lack of light pollution was just breath-taking. An experience we will never forget.

Glamping Cabin - Ensuite Glamping Lodge with Hot TubAug 2025

We booked the bigger cabin this time round and we definitely loved it more than before. The hot tubs were very clean and the temperature stayed to our desired heat. Even though it is summer, the cabin remained cool throughout. It was very peaceful and relaxing especially in the early mornings.

We feel lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world and wanted to share it with everyone, so we decided to set up our fantastic site. Located just outside the Brecon Beacons National Park, we're surrounded by lovely countryside and fantastic views.

We also have our own flock of sheep, which you'll often see grazing in the fields nearby.

Things to do on site and in the Brecon area

There's plenty to keep you busy during your stay! The Brecon Beacons are a ten minute drive away, with walking trails, cycling routes and plenty of scenic spots to take in the views. If you're up for a challenge, tackle Pen Y Fan, a 20 minute drive away.

The market town of Brecon is also a ten minute drive, where you can visit the museum, wander along the canal basin, browse shops or find a welcoming local pub for a drink.

For something a little different, Llangorse Multi Activity Centre is a 25 minute drive away, with horse riding, climbing and watersports. Golf enthusiasts can also take a five minute stroll from the site to Cradoc Golf Club.

Further afield, you'll find Henrhyd Falls a 40 minute drive away and Waterfall Country a 45 minute drive away. Both are worth exploring, with woodland walks and stunning waterfalls.
