About the site


The peaceful site is located just a five minute drive from the coast and 15 minutes from the Broads National Park, where you can enjoy all the Norfolk countryside has to offer. The site offers 50 spacious grass pitches and 15 hardstanding pitches, most with optional electric. You can enjoy a night off cooking and stop by the onsite smokehouse restaurant serving American style food, where the site holds frequent live music acts. There is also a children's play area and free WiFi available. Dogs are allowed to join you for your stay. Open fires are not permitted onsite. BBQs are allowed but must be raised off the ground.

Site facilities include a shower and toilet block with disabled facilities, coin operates washing machines and dryers. WiFi is available and there are two children's play areas.

There is an onsite restaurant called The Smokehouse that is open daily that serves American-style food, and often has live music events. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 4pm to 9pm, Saturday 12pm to 9pm and Sunday 12pm to 8pm.

The Nisa local is the closest shop to the site, just a 15 minute walk. The closest pub that serves food and drink is The Centurion, a ten minute walk from the site.

*Dogs must be kept on a lead and exercised off the Park.

*No fire pits, chimeneas or open fires.

*Arrival time is from 2pm until 7pm at the latest.

*Pitches must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure unless prior arrangements have been made with the Warden.


Things to do on site and in the Great Yarmouth area

Lots of seaside fun to be had along the coast with local beaches including Haven, Caister-on-Sea, within a 25 minute walk and a four minute drive. Great Yarmouth is a 15 minute drive from the site, where there are options to hire a boat and have a relaxing day in The Broads, popping into a pub for lunch, trying some fishing or spotting some wildlife.

Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is great for animal enthusiasts, you can see pandas, leopards, meerkats, otters and more! You can stop for a bite to eat at the cafe, and let the kids run wild at the outdoor play areas.

The Fairhaven Woodland and Water Gardens are 130 acres of waterways and greenery. Open year round, you can partake in wild swimming, paddle boarding, boat trips or just a simple walk around the grounds. Enjoy a locally made scone at the tea room and take in the wild gardens.
