Great site for anyone but especially kids Recommends site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 I booked Sherwood Pines to take my 3 year old grandson camping for the first time. His daddy came too thankfully!
He loved it. Loved the play park, the setting, even the washing up! We walked through the forest to the go ape centre and another play park. He loved that too!
The site is very clean, safe and well managed. Facilities are all you could want. If you've got kids that just want to run and play, ride a bike etc, this will do you very well.
Peaceful, relaxing time Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 Good size pitches. Very clean. Efficient check in with very friendly and helpful staff. The staff took you to your pitch on a bike and explained everything you needed to know.
Reception has a small shop but I felt needed to stock more of the daily essentials rather than toys and gifts (i.e. bread, milk etc) as there are no shops within walking distance.
Memory time! Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 Staff exceptionally helpful, site very clean and in a great location. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and so kind to the dog too, can't wait to return.
Great site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 Great site, nice and clean. Great for walking straight into the forest.
Quiet and peaceful location Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 We were off to the side in a small bay, not in the main camping area. It was great, great to be close to nature. We'll be back for sure.
Noisy Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 I put on booking form "quiet spot" but instead I was pitched next to a large group of adults celebrating a birthday. They were noisy the whole day and night, even after supposed quiet time, which really ruined my weekend.
It's a large site so if you are going to allow large parties couldn't you put them in a secluded area?
