VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2023

This is a beautiful spot with far-reaching views. Very basic facilities, but well presented. Great pub a few steps down the road.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2023

Was just a field, most of which was on a slope. Email said to check in on arrival, yet there wasn't anyone around to speak to. We were asked by couple of people about seeing the owners, but just advised them to call like we did. I think that as it is just a field and portaloo, the site should be a little less, as many other sites nearby are £1-£5 more and offer a lot of facilities. I think this place is new to offering camping and it did the job. We enjoy wild camping and this was basically the same. Wouldn't come back but did enjoy ourselves, so thank you.

Thank you for your feedback, it really helps. Apologies that nobody was around, we have signs with our numbers on but I understand it's always nicer to talk to someone in person, thank you for staying with us.

Trailer Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

A hidden gem. This was just what I was looking for - the views over the Bristol Channel and surrounding Mendip hills were stunning. Facilities are all you need for a night or two away. A large field with plenty of space for people to not camp on top of one another. Friendly farmer asking for feedback on my way out. Fellow campers were all cool. There's a great pub a short walk away, with a good selection of fish and plant based meals. My dinner was lush, and prices were reasonable for the quality. Lots of footpaths to wander from the campsite, with ravens and buzzards soaring overhead. Sadly I slept in so missed sunrise which I bet was lovely. You can hear traffic from down in the valley so if you're a light sleeper earplugs might be a good idea. As a solo camper I felt very safe. I'd definitely go back if visiting Somerset again.
