Fabulous campsite
Single Axle Caravan - Grass and Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) Apr 2026 Such a lovely campsite - we were so pleased with our find! Absolutely spotless facilities (2 showers, 2 toilets and washing up basin), gorgeous view and pretty much exclusive use while we were there.
About 15 pitches in total, but there were 2 of us one night, 3 the next and 4 on our last night, so never bumped into anyone when washing up! As others have said, there is road noise, but we were expecting that, so not a problem.
The views are divine! Kay (the owner) was really welcoming and stayed in touch via text before we arrived, and said to contact her with any problems. We didn't have any.
It was a little bit at the top end of our budget, but we would happily stay there again if we wanted to camp in the area!

Only slight drawback is that you pretty much have to drive anywhere you want to go as it's on a 50mph main road. Overall, would definitely book again if staying in the area.

Perfect base for exploring the area

Mainly couples with dogs and a few solo campers. Very welcoming host with super-clean facilities and lovely hot showers in the morning.
The site is next to the moderately busy A353, so you do get some traffic noise, but it's quite elevated, and there's a great view across the Dorset countryside to the sea. We'd definitely book it again.

Peaceful
VW-Type Campervan - Grass and Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2025 Small, quiet campsite with beautiful views and walkable to Osmington Bay and Ringstead Bay, and only ten minutes drive to Weymouth beach.
Only downside is its off a busy road which you've got to walk along to get anywhere else. The loos and showers are lovely, modern & clean. The pitches are really big, we fit 2 small campers easily on one, though price is per person anyway, so it doesn't save any money. Prices seem a little steep in comparison to other campsites with similar facilities and there's extra charges for awnings etc.
However, it was a nice stay and we knew the costs when booking. The owner seemed lovely.

Good for caravans
Small Tent - Grass and Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 I enjoyed my first night at this campsite. The location is brilliant, but the road noise bothered me a little. I would recommend this campsite for caravans.
Dorset gem
Motorhome - Grass and Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 Lovely little campsite with excellent facilities, nice view over to Portland, the Dorset countryside and to be able to see the sea.
Not too far from Weymouth. The only negative was that we found it difficult to find the exact turning into the driveway, the sign (which doesn't say camping) is only visible after you have passed it (and we know the area) the Satnav took us to the area, not the precise location, a small sign on the road verge would be very helpful. Campsite is not really visible from the road.
Our stay at Zambuka
Single Axle Caravan - Grass and Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 Had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful, wonderful views of the coast and countryside. Being adult only it was quiet, would highly recommend it for a lovely stay on the Jurassic coast. Kay and her son were also very helpful and just wanted you to have a pleasant stay.

So many lovely walks from the site and a close bus stop to go many different places.
Food was amazing in the Smugglers Inn.

Friendly and welcoming campsite
Medium Tent - Grass and Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Such a lovely welcome from Kay on arrival with some great pointers for good local walks and eating. Quiet and friendly - there is the road nearby with a steady flow of traffic but it’s quiet at night and really didn’t worry us. Great location with beautiful views. Facilities well maintained and clean.

Spectacular views

One thing I would recommend is better signage on the road.
