VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 Peaceful, fantastic toilet/shower facilities, adult only site, just a 10 minute walk from the village centre. Good pub, shop, cafe and bakery, also a great fish and chip shop.
Lucy and her son are really lovely people, welcoming and helpful.
Excellent campsite for those who enjoy peaceful surroundings
Medium Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 A gentle peaceful campsite, located a 5 minute walk from a beautiful Cotswold village with a lovely café, shop and pub.
We have just returned from a really enjoyable break at this campsite. Lucy and William (son) are the best hosts we have come across. Friendly 'meet and greet', they were never intrusive but quietly checking on our stay.
The facilities were spotlessly clean (cleaned each day). We loved the site as it was very quiet. Adults only, please do not come if you think that camping requires blaring music, this site does not cater for that and honestly, its beauty is its relaxing peaceful environment. We did experience one night where a group of girls were noisy - I think possibly due to drinking - William did ask them to quieten down, but unfortunately they just did not realize how their chatter and laughter carried on the night air. This was not the campsites fault and they did try to quieten the situation.
We loved the place and we are already planning a revisit - thank you so much Lucy and William (and all your four-legged friends), you have a beautiful site - please keep its uniqueness, we love it.

Good facilities and close to town with all amenities
Medium Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 Large grass pitches with long grass to give more privacy. Flat pitches with own water tap. Toilet facilities were excellent and very clean. Freezer provided for ice blocks.
Very convenient for walking into Minchinhampton where there are shops and a pub. Good walks from site onto the Common. Lucy gave us ideas for a bike ride from the site, which we enjoyed.
Will definitely come again if in the area.
Pleasant stay - very quiet site with clean facilities
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 We booked this without much info about the surrounding area. Minchinhampton is a lovely place with lots of Cotswold stone buildings. It has an oldy worldly charm about it. Locals are friendly and welcoming, We even went to a talk given by the local history society.
Lucy the owner was welcoming and helpful, frequently coming down the field to see if we were ok and needed anything. It's a peaceful child free site where we felt safe and welcome and staff were friendly.
Apologies for not saying goodbye to Lucy, we had an early start the day we left.
A quick getaway

Spotless facilities and helpful friendly welcome. The donkeys were a bonus.

Nice and easy
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 Great couple of nights, campsite was lovely, well cared for and with good clean facilities.
Location was ideal for us as only a short walk from the centre, so we were able to visit the town, visit the church and head to the pub for much needed refreshments. Very friendly place to visit with locals and tourists all mixing in the pub which was nice.
Host Lucy met us at the gate and gave us a great load-down/info and we were then left in peace. We also took the bridleway from the side of campsite for a nice walk through paddocks and cornfields to another pub - note for those doing the same, unless you have a young bouncy dog who can jump up over walls, you will need to pick your dog up over crossing points (not easy with an old Labrador!). Nice to have the donkeys as neighbours.

VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 We could only stay one night here but were very impressed by this quiet, rural campsite. Very efficiently run by Lucy and the facilities are really first rate. We will return!
Great campsite!
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 What a great campsite! The pitches are a good size and well spaced out. The washing up room, toilet and shower block are kept immaculate and there is a small wooded area for walking the dog.
Location is great too with lots of countryside direct from site to explore and the picturesque village of Minchinhampton is a few minutes walk. Lucy the owner makes you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble.
Hope to visit again in the near future and would not hesitate to recommend this site.
Great campsite in great location
Medium Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 A lovely quiet spot. Personally I would prefer not to share facilities with men, and have wet drips on toilet seats. Otherwise great facilities, including a spacious dog walking area.

A haven of tranquility
Medium Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2024 I love this site it's a haven of peace with lovely walks all around. We go with our dog either in our tent or van. I always want to stay longer so it's definitely a regular stay for us now.
Completely spotless facilities and always hot showers.

This is also great for wildlife. Lovely location close to the village with the fabulous Crown Pub. The best bit however was no children. Peaceful mornings.

Lovely quiet site

Easy, lovely walk to Minchinghampton and the common, with easy, quiet roads nearby to get about.
Love the layout of the site, the pitches are divided by natural grasses which looks a brilliant idea, good for the wildlife too.
Will stay again I'm sure.

Pitches spacious and well laid out. Toilets etc very clean, though it was annoying that the shower turns off after about 20 seconds!. Lucy was really lovely and friendly, with useful info. Nice village 2 mins walk and great pub/restaurant.

Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 Great location, very relaxed and peaceful, pub close by and Lucy is very helpful and welcoming, would definitely return. Pitches are grass but the site is built on Limestone so no chance of getting stuck in the mud, definitely recommend this site.
Private and peaceful

Showers, toilets, sink area all very clean. Small dog walking area which was great. A short walk into the lovely village of Minchinhampton with a nice pub and good shops. Highly recommended.
Excellent and clean campsite
Large Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 We stayed as a couple in a tent with electric. We used this as a base to do some Cotswold way walks.
All the pitches were a really good size and well maintained. We had an Outwell Montana 6 with extension and there was loads of space between pitches. An individual water tap for the tent (saved walking to a central point), washing machine and fridge freezer to use. The shower block and toilets were immaculately clean.
There is a local shop, pub, brilliant butchers, and super fish and chip shop near the site. All in all, it was a really good stay and thoroughly recommend
