Lovely stay

We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and booked at the very last minute. The listing is very accurate in its description, and there is plenty of space in the fields. We used the field as a base for hiking in Snowdonia, but also visiting Bangor and the surrounding beaches. The owners were lovely and very accommodating, helping us book another night when we were enjoying our stay.

Great as a base for days out. Cheap and cheerful.

Excellent Stay - True to Description

Super good value for money and very accurate description. Owners are lovely and very accommodating, they helped us book an extra night stay at very little notice. We used it as a base for climbing mountains in snowdonia but also to visit the local beaches!

No frills camping

Pros: Great location. Level pitches. Quiet camping. Small campsite. Cons: No allocated pitch (grass) so can have very close neighbours depending on how busy it is. Unmanned site so no direction on where to pitch up/raise any issues to. There is a phone number provided on the email confirmation and the person that picked up was lovely and helpful. We were aware there were no toilet/shower facilities, but note there is no water facilities at all. A neighbour at a serviced pitch kindly let us fill our water. Grass is extremely long so bring extra tent pegs as you'll never find the ones you lose. Note: the postcode doesn't bring you to the campsite. Used what3words instead. Don't let the "con" list put you off! I would recommend this campsite and would stay here again, just making people aware of the things I wish I knew beforehand so I could be more prepared 🙂

Quiet, Calm, True to Descrition

Amazing site, clean, full facilities as stated. Grass and hedges well maintained, we didn’t find it too long in 99% of places. Entrance not too hard to find, but definitely recommend what3words to find it, took us directly to gate Quiet and peaceful exactly what we wanted, will definitely be coming again

Solstice stay

We had a very nice stay. Very quiet place. Facilities were basic as described but clean and adequate. The only issue was finding the place in the first place. If using this place, definitely use the what3words location.

Peaceful camping

A lovely simple, quiet site, ideally suited to explore Anglesey. Everything a motorhome or caravan user needs. Nice well drained land. Helpful, friendly host.

First time at this site was advertised as a quiet site

First time at this site. We would have preferred electric hook up but they just advertised non electric grass pitch. Had to see ourselves to the pitch, no service or greeting . Was near a tent where the people who had the tent were playing football everywhere on the site and was noisy most of night. Not somewhere we would go again.

Hi - the whole point is peace and tranquillity. I'm sorry about the footballing tent, if you told me I would have addressed it. Sorry I couldn't meet and greet, I try most times.

Perfect pitches

We stayed for two nights and it was perfect for us and our two little dogs. Nice and peaceful. We found the site easily enough, we did use what 3 words, as the postcode takes you a bit up the hill. We had been given directions too, but we didn't need them. The site has no showers or toilet block, but we knew that and we were fully aware. We are self sufficient. It does have EHU, a waste disposal point and also water. The site is a good size, and you would not feel crammed in like you do in some campsites. Basic, simple, clean, all we needed. We will certainly return in the future.

Remote

Proper outback camping, quiet, peaceful and relaxing, left to your own devices. No Wi-Fi, which is good as the kids are off the screens, using their imagination to entertain themselves. I loved it, would come back and recommend if you want to turn off from modern life for a day or 2. 👍

That's the plan, last corner of planet earth, off grid. Sit and look at the beautiful night sky or the nature in the rewilding area.

Peaceful, natural, private

If you want a peaceful, no-fuss campsite, Swallow Bach is perfect. Great location to explore Anglesey.

Amazing

Beautiful little site, very small and cozy. We were the only ones there, which was lovely! Nice and shaded when you want it to be and even heard the cows on the field next to us mooing and having a rub against the fence. Defo be back & highly recommend 😊 Definitely follow the instructions emailed to you, as my partner thought we should just follow maps and ended up in the middle of nowhere and a few miles from the site! Got rubbish bins, electric hook ups, water taps and toilet waste disposal on site, which was very handy🙏🏼 It's enclosed by trees, so not much of a view to look at, but still beautiful and peaceful.

Our stay

It was ok. A bit difficult to find with given instructions. Maybe it was us, but there was another couple also driving around we passed several times then met at the site. We were unsure where to park as it said the pitches was numbered but found they weren't and everyone seemed unsure where to park to begin with. Was clean and tidy very peaceful and it served it's purpose for our stay.

Thanks for coming. It's important that the directions I send with your confirmation are followed. They are bespoke as I wrote them with a caravan in mind. But it is rural Wales with the language and everything, I still get lost! Hope you come again xx
