About the site
Get back to nature and enjoy a relaxing getaway in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. This 'almost wild' campsite enjoys stunning countryside views, with visiting wildlife to the river.
For tent campers, there are 20 unallocated pitches available across a few acres of land, so simply find a spot you like and set up camp. Each of the pitches allows tents only, for families of up to six per pitch, capped at a low number to always ensure some peace and quiet. Fire pits and logs are available to hire on site too for al fresco cooking.
The campsite is situated down a little country lane, alongside a river with stepping stones heading into the village. The river is perfect for paddling, and further upstream there's even a little wooden bridge over a pool deep enough for wild swimming.
Fire pits and BBQs are welcome, there are fire pits available to hire onsite and local produce can be purchased in the village.
Dogs can join you for your stay too with up to two dogs allowed per pitch.
Please note, that there is not a drinking water tap available onsite, but there will be bottles of water available to buy.

A note from the site themselves...
Lauren and Dan have been on the farm together since 2018. Taking the farm over and learning as they go, they decided to open the fields to campers in 2021 so others could admire the beautiful views surrounding the farm!
Being conscious of having a minimal impact on the local surroundings, the campsite is proudly off-grid and is made from reclaimed materials to mirror surrounding agricultural barns.
We were even mentioned in County Lifestyle and Leisure magazine as one of the UK's top ten Camping and Glamping sites.
Non electric grass pitches suitable for tents only with shared facilities nearby. Sorry, no vehicles are allowed on the pitches and must be parked in the designated area.
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PtichesAug 2023
Don't have a bad word to say- beautiful location, really close to Betws-y-coed.
The couple who run it are lovely and the pizzas were delicious.
Unfortunately something came up so we were only able to come for one night - gutted!
Really hope they manage to extend their permit so it can be open longer next year!
Pleasant campsite

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PtichesAug 2023
We had 2 nights here, which we did really enjoy once we were all settled. Due to arriving quite late in the day (because of traffic), all the good spots in the field had been taken already, so we we're left with the bottom of the hill on quite a slant, which was our only issue really! Advise people to get there early for a good spot! :D
The onsite wood fired pizzas were lush and the owners/staff were really nice too :)
I did struggle slightly with getting into the carpark with it being so muddy and slippery, and on quite a sharp corner - maybe something to look into, but all in all a lovely campsite with beautiful views xx
Fab stay

Great campsite with great views. It is an ideal location for those who enjoy an active holiday with Bala Lake and Snowdonia within close proximity. The owners were attentive and easy to chat with, plus they make great pizzas!
