Great location
Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 We had an amazing 2 days stay at this camp site. Services was great and super clean. There was always 2 people coming to clean and tidy up after the peak time usage of thr facilities. Thank you for your hard work and keep it so nice and clean for us.
An unattended campsite where no one respects the rules Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 I want to start by saying this is probably the perfect campsite if you're a group of friends that want to turn up and pitch up where you like and not be bothered by owners.
Unfortunately, that's who there were at this campsite in abundance. I'm no fun sponge and I can appreciate a group of mates having a good time. However, what I can't appreciate is a complete disregard for the rules.
Now our first impression, we're probably tainted by the fact this is a turn up and pitch anywhere situation however, having a larger tent meant this was near on impossible without being in the way or a safety hazard. I tried the number provided several times to not be answered, we actually considered driving home! Once sorted, it's no help from owners. We found the facilities to be clean and basic, although no hot water in toilets or washing up station.
The issue then came with a sheer disregard for the rules from other campers as the site is pretty much just a field with no staff, there was no one patrolling. People were having fires when there were signs everywhere saying not to, music until gone midnight, no regard for other campers when people were walking to the toilets in the early hours, having a full volume conversation & someone kicking a football outside toilets at 2am.
It's our experience and unfortunately wasn't a good one. This site needs marketing as a more party/group friendly site or needs to do a better job of keeping their campers in check!

Showers plentiful with nice warm water, toilets in great condition as well. Would highly recommend.

Great location, poorly managed campers Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 This little campsite was a great location, sadly that's as good as it got.
However, despite, very clear signage stating no BBQs or fires in the National Park due to the hot weather, there were other campers who clearly chose to ignore this warning. Also the camp had additional signage stating no noise after 10pm. However, there was a very large family group who decided that these rules didn't apply to them and played loud music until around 4am, along with a lot of noise and swearing.
We chose not to stay our second night, as well as other campers we spoke to, due to having very little sleep. I did message the hosts about this, but had no response.

Nice stay
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 The place itself was fantastic, great location, very clean, nice showers, nice toilets.
They did check both nights if I had the booking, which is understandable and I assume people try their luck with just parking up and hoping they don't get caught.
Unfortunately, the people that were staying around were noisy, although the policy says from 9p,, it's quiet time - it didn't amount to that. Music was being played, loud laughing from huge family/friend groups to what I'd call partying. So bare that in mind as it wasn't something I anticipated.

First time camping
Extra Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Family of 4 and a dog stayed for just the 1 night for our first time camping. We all had a fantastic time here the location of the campsite is amazing, really couldn’t fault anything about it. Perfect place if you just want to get away and go back to basics.
Weekend camping for Chatsworth show and walking
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We chose this campsite for somewhere to stay to attend the Chatsworth country show and then do a walk the following day.
The location was great and the views fantastic. The site was a lovely grassy, even, field with lots of space. It was not noisy and other guests were friendly and respectful. There were six push button showers and they were clean, spacious and warm. Toilets were clean and always had loo roll, soap and towels.
The staff were friendly and offer a cute service with a little trolley where they sell items. (Please see picture). There was also a comprehensive list of important numbers (doctors, dentist, pubs, taxis etc.) The nearest pub was half a mile and totally unique.
We did an 8.5 mile circular walk from the campsite through stoney Middleton and Eyam.
We'd definitely visit again.

There are some noisy camper until 01:00. Overall stay - satisfied.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 A basic campsite which was exactly what it said it would be, clean tidy with lovely scenery, gave us exactly what we needed for a fab couple of nights exploring the Peak District would recommend will use again 😁
A suggestion would be to offer a freezer for ice blocks in the future.
Absolutely faultless
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 First time camping with our 7 year old son, could not fault the place. Really nice site, very clean and amazing views. A really good price, will be back for sure. No electricity, but this was good as it meant no iPad.
A nice mixture of couples and families, and would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to visit this beautiful part of England.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Was a very large campsite with many refill stations for washing and drinking water. Really clean toilet and shower facilities, would highly recommend if hiking in the Peak District will definitely come again.

Lots of space, busy bank holiday weekend but still plenty of room. Nice to see horses, goats, donkey and highland cows! Very happy and definitely will return.

I enjoyed my stay at White House Farm, my only complaint is the quiet hours which were not enforced and a few groups didn't pay attention to.
