About the site
Nestled between Cheltenham and Gloucester, Briarfields Touring Park is a welcoming, family-run, adults-only site, perfectly positioned for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds and wider Gloucestershire countryside. Surrounded by mature trees, established hedgerows and visiting wildlife, it's a lovely place to relax, unwind and enjoy a well-earned break. Getting here couldn't be easier! Just minutes from the M5, the park offers straightforward access for caravans and motorhomes, with no tricky narrow country lanes to navigate. Touring guests can choose from hardstanding pitches with 10 amp electric hook-ups or fully serviced pitches for a little extra convenience. Hornbeam hedging separates the pitches, offering a sense of space and privacy, although some hedges are more established than others. For those without their own caravan or motorhome, three cosy camping pods: Buttercup, Daisy and Bluebell offer a comfortable alternative. Each pod sleeps two adults, with either a double bed or twin beds, and comes equipped with heating, lighting, electricity and a handy kitchenette featuring a mini fridge, microwave and kettle. French doors open onto a private decking area, perfect for enjoying a morning cuppa or relaxing in the fresh air. Guests simply need to bring their own bedding. A lovely addition to the park is The Orchard Bar, a welcoming spot where guests can relax with a drink and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. With outdoor seating nestled in the orchard, it's the perfect place to soak up a little sunshine, unwind after a day exploring the Cotswolds or enjoy a leisurely evening chatting with fellow guests. And the best bit? There's no need to venture off site! Four-legged friends are very welcome too, with up to two well-behaved dogs permitted per pitch. A fully enclosed dog exercise field provides plenty of space for a proper off-lead run, while the surrounding countryside offers some wonderful walking opportunities for guests and their canine companions. Exploring the local area couldn't be simpler. Frequent bus services stop directly outside the park entrance, making it easy to visit Cheltenham and Gloucester without taking the car. Cyclists are well catered for too, with a good network of cycle routes nearby, including Sustrans National Cycle Route 41 just moments away. The picturesque towns and villages of the Cotswolds are within easy reach, including Winchcombe (approximately 25 minutes), Bourton-on-the-Water (35 minutes) and Stow-on-the-Wold (40 minutes). Whether it's exploring charming villages, discovering independent shops, enjoying countryside walks or stopping for a leisurely pub lunch, there's plenty to see and do. With its friendly atmosphere, comfortable accommodation, welcoming Orchard Bar and fantastic location, Briarfields is a wonderful base for a relaxing adults-only getaway in the heart of Gloucestershire.
