Perfect Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Great campsite in a lovely location.
Excellent value & it was nice not to have to pay extra for dog, awning, gazebo etc. Free to pitch where you wanted & could spread out so there was lots of room between tents. Choice of fields & lovely views all around.
Easy walking distance to Lathkill Dale & also walkable to Bakewell/ Monyash (or short drive).
Clean facilities. Fridge/freezer available to store your fresh goods. Showers were 20p per minute & water was hot. A fair price considering the low pitch prices.
Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location and views
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Everything really well set up and a wonderful location with stunning views, especially from the top field.
One suggestion would be to put a slatted wooden low platform (say 1 inch high) in each shower cubicle to reduce the dampness from the floor when changing. Twice the number of door hooks would be a worthwhile addition, too.
We will be back and recommend this site without hesitation.

My stay at Mandale Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Great location, nice staff and good breakfast van on a morning.
Literally, the only issue was that shower one was like lava, so that could do with being adjusted. That aside, 10/10.
Basic but good
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 We booked the site for a trip to Chatsworth Country Fair and it was perfectly placed. The facilities were basic but everything we needed was there and clean. The view from our pitch was gorgeous too! Would stay there again.

Lovely quiet campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Lovely site, perfect location for us, nice walks nearby and crucially, well placed between a variety of climbing locations. Very quiet, big fields with enough flat areas and no livestock directly neighbouring (the dog wouldn't approve).
Even found an Indian takeaway who deliver to the campsite (left menu in the washroom).
Amazing Park
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 This is an amazing camping park. It is quiet, peaceful, very clean, and the facilities are amazing. It has a fridge freezer you can store things in as well as a huge kitchen for everyone's use.
I lovedddd that they have ice-cream tubs on sale for £2 too! Perfect treat for all the family.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 A lovely, quiet campsite in a great location. Rural and great views. Hot showers, clean toilets and a washing up area. For the price I paid, it was a brilliant bargain. I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it, I slept really well! I'd definitely recommend and return!
