Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Adult Only)Aug 2023

My wife and I are inexperienced campers and staying in a 2 person tent may not have been the best idea (my wife's first experience!). Although weather was not brilliant, we really enjoyed our stay. The Maple site was nice and quiet and we had no issues with noise. The best part of our stay were the people who own and run the site - nothing was too much trouble. Whilst cycling on Friday evening I got soaked to the skin in a thundery shower and the owner was more than happy to take my wet clothes and dry them (I declined her kind offer, but it is the thought that counts!). Finally, I needed a jump start on Monday morning and within 5 minutes of my request Carl was there to get me started and on my way.

Had a lovely 1 night stay, had all the basic facilities needed. We ordered the pizzas and they were lovely. A lovely, remote location, clean and quiet. Would stay again.
