Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Lovely quiet campsite, short walk into town with a great pub, cafe and a few shops. Spent a relaxing couple of nights and Lucy made us feel very welcome
Loved it. Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 The site is brilliant. The grass pitches were top notch. Showers and toilets were excellent and clean++. Hot water for showers. Lucy (owner) is very helpful with good local knowledge. She recommended we go to the Minchinhampton Social Club. Great advice as they had a Karaoke which was great fun. Local cafe (Henry’s) was really nice for coffee and bacon sandwich etc. The Crown Inn has a really nice beer garden/courtyard.
A fantastic weekend Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 We absolutely loved our weekend at Tobacconist Farm. Excellent location with Minchinhampton town just 5 minutes walk away,
with access to a pub and shops.
The campsite had clean facilities with ample space to park our motorhome.
We will be returning!

Fire pits are readily available. Lucy is always very helpful, always a very warm welcome. We would always recommend this site.

Excellent site Recommends site
Medium Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Superb, spacious site in a really beautiful area. Really good facilities including washing machine and communal fridge/freezer. Very friendly and helpful owners who were really welcoming. And lovely village genuinely only 5 minutes walk away.
perfect stay in the Cotswolds Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Were there second time! We simply love the relaxed and quiet atmosphere in Minchinghampton and on the campsite. The pitches on the right hand side are a bit sheltered by higher grass. Each pitch has its water tap and electric point.
It is a rather small campsites with no frills, but enough showers and toilets, washing up facilities and even a washing machine.
Perfect for a couple of days, by foot or by bike. Don´t miss the Stroud Brewery or the Pub in Amberley
Great Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Loved this site will definitely be returning could not fault it , one of the best ones we have stayed. So peaceful well kept and clean. Short walk into the village and lovely walks around
Lovely facilities and the kettle is a godsend. Recommends site
Small Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2026 I loved staying here with the donkey and large herd. Easy access to pretty Minchinhampton and the Crown. Also lunches for picnics available here all smashing. Super church too. Plus ADULTS ONLY!
Excellent campsite - we will return. Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 What we loved about this campsite was that it was tucked away with an open field outlook but was also a very short walk to the village which had a pub, village shop, bakery and butchers.
In addition, the pitches were huge, some of them made very private by lovely wildflower banks in between.
The facilities were also excellent in that they were really clean and also each bathroom was private, not communal like most other campsites.
Good kitchen facilities with free use of a fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Lucy and her son Will were very helpful and easy to get hold of.
Fabulous site and facilities Recommends site
Medium Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 We were meeting friends in Nailsworth, which is walkable from Tobacconist Farm site, but also, Minchinhampton is a delightful village.
The site owner is extremely helpful both with the facilities and local history. The spotlessly clean facilities include individual shower/washrooms as well as washing up, a washing machine, kettle and fridge/freezer.
There are two fields for tents and campervans. We were in the paddock which had a bit of a slope but shady trees were welcome. Everything we needed within easy reach. Slight traffic noise during the day, plus some helicopters for neighbouring HRH, but nothing to spoil the birdsong. We are not dog owners, but the wooded dog walk area was a great asset. We will definitely return.
Superb Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 What a little gem, lovely quiet site, beautifully laid out, wonderfully clean and Lucy (owner) was a treasure. Fab little wooded area designated for dogs. Wish we could have stayed a LOT longer. Superbly located and literally 5 mins to the nearest pub with cows wondering past the door! Loved it. We WILL be back

Small Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2026 Thank you Lucy - Excellent Service
Third stay and will be booking again Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Our favourite site in the UK; Small, child-free, clean, fuss free; lovely grassed bays with banks between pitches for privacy and noise reduction.
We always use their fire pits and picnic benches. The toilet /shower blocks are modern and spotless. There are donkeys to chat to! The location is slightly out of the village but only a few minutes' lovely walk to the centre for pubs, coffee shops and the Minch Emporium.
Plenty of options walk-wise (recommend The Weighbridge for a great pie) or over the common to the Old Lodge. We love Kate and her site, will be booking again soon.
Fantastic Stay Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Site was excellent and our pitch was spacious. Lucy was great, helpful and on hand. We were first-timers and so she was a great help with some basics!
Minchinhampton is a charming, quirky Cotswold village with a great pub and fascinating people and only a few minutes walk.
Friendly, helpful owner Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Excellent adult only site, like being in the countryside. Friendly, helpful owner. Great facilities
A lovely campsite, plenty of space and not overcrowded. The owner, Lucy, is very friendly and helpful, she has thought about everything you could possibly need, firepits, kindling, picnic benches, even chocks. The facilities are great, very clean showers and toilets, washing up area, inside kitchen area with washing machine and communal fridge/freezer. The site has a lovely countryside feel. Even the donkeys were friendly. Only a ten minute walk to The Crown in Minchinhampton where we had a nice meal and drinks.
We will definitely be visiting again.
First impressions Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 On entering the site, I was a little concerned about the site but Lucy was waiting for us and quickly showed us where to pitch and explained about the facilities and electric hook up and fresh water. Toilet block and showers were lovely and clean, in good working order and the location for Minchinhampton village (great cafe) and local walks were very good. We really enjoyed our stay.
All great, shame about the weather! Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Excellent campsite. You arrive at the gate and phone Lucy who comes out to meet you straightaway. Very few signs telling you what to do and not to do and few rules other than the obvious which we heartily approve of. We were pitched near the top of the slightly sloping field next to a lovely meadow with wild flowers. We were nearly level and didn't need any blocks. Hook up and water right by us. Superb facilities at the bottom of the field which had everything you could need. A bit of a trek from the top of the field in the wind and rain but not a problem at all.
Really liked the way somewhat separate areas to pitch in were created by leaving unmown sections in between. This is brilliant for wild life. Many birds visible at all times.
No more than 5 minutes walk into the village which has a few great shops and a pub. The Pub is the Crown which was busy, of course, on a Saturday night. Decent beer and food albeit a bit pricey. We also came across the Amberley Inn on the other side of the common (maybe 30 mins walk) which I liked a lot. Good looking menu again and quite a lot cheaper than the Crown.
Great walks across and around the common. The villages of Box and Amberley are worth a visit and afford some great views.
Really Good Camp Site Recommends site
Medium Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Good communication with Lucy who runs the site, before and during our stay. We were met and given a great place to pitch our tent. The facilities block was well equipped and spotlessly clean. This is a well run site and I would highly recommend. Thank you Lucy.
Great campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2026 Nice stay for two nights. Clean and tidy campsite:)
Gem of a site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2026 We keep coming back to this gem of a site. It is so peaceful, facilities spotless and location is amazing 😃
Peace and quiet for a relaxing stay Recommends site
Small Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2026 A great campsite located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Minchinhampton and yet surrounded by open fields. In Minchinhampton, there is a pub, cafe, shop and butcher, so everything that you need is on your doorstep.
There are plenty of walks direct from the site so it was perfect with our two dogs. We would definitely stay again.
