Beautiful place to stay

This is hidden gem, beautiful location and place stay...Facilities were clean and maintained. The beachbis lovely and the seals were an added bonus. Thank you for having us

Good place to go but no signal from network properly wild holiday

Great place to go!! But there is no network and wiifii really sad time without connection and showers are closed at 9 pm

Weekend break

Our stay here was lovely. The staff were nice and everything about it was a good experience.

Perfect site for a beach holiday

All facilities spotless. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. I love how everyone camping whether in a tent or a caravan are all pitched together. Fab park for the kiddies on site. Lovely and quiet in the evenings. All campers respect one another. Monica explained everything on arrival and all the amenities on site. Please thank her for her kindness. The shop is well stocked with something for everyone and on occasions when things are left behind. I will definitely be back, hopefully again this year if possible.The seals resting on the beach was a definite bonus.. amazing

Campervan

Fantastic site, plenty to do, food vans are only Friday - Sunday if you don’t fancy cooking. We paid for premium pitch which was amazingly sized. However looking at the standard pitches, they are very tight, especially when you have caravans and motorhomes on them, just beware. Would highly recommend though.

Very relaxing stay

Very relaxing 4 night stay on a great sized, flat pitch. Great size pitch, flat. Facilities very good. Lovely staff. Facilities are slightly dated and some of the buildings really do need a lick of paint to bring them up to date with the rest of the site ! Lovely hot showers and water for pot wash. Climbing over the sand dunes to the beach is hard work if you have disability issues but, you will make it :-) The beach is stunning and the wild seals, well, that was such an amazing experience. The site shop had a good range of produce and a coffee machine :-) All the girls working in there were really friendly, as were all the staff. The putting green is beautiful and the outdoor lodge building was great. We took a couple of drinks up there one night and enjoyed the evening sunshine. There were outdoor food wagons that came at the weekend. We had a roastie dinner which was very nice, big portion too. There isn't anything close by like a pub or shops, not unless you drive or can walk around 2.5 miles to get there. Take everything you need and you will really have such a good time here. We will definitely return and recommend to friends.

we spent the weekend there, it was clean and tidy. shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. friendly staff, food trucks were a good price. beach was a 2 minute walk. we will be going back for sure!

Really lovely site well organised and run

Lovely vibe. Facilities were good especially the larger family showers. Food vans and bar were also great and should be advertised more. Staff all friendly and helpful. If there was one (minor) gripe it's that the showers had no basins or mirrors so you had to go to the toilet to brush teeth etc. Kids play park was brilliant. Easy access to the beach where we saw some seals. All in all, a really well run and organised site. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay

Great place for a family holiday. Needs better access to beach for disabled persons. More shower blocks and washing machines Staff welcoming and friendly. Great place to meet new friends

Lovely stay

Perfectly close to the beach. Close to supermarket and pubs. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent shower & toilet facilities, good little shop. Fire pits were great. Good food trucks but some expensive. Overall, campsite very clean. Would 100% return.

Highly recommend

Great location, walk over the dunes and the sea is right there, saw many seals. There were different food trucks each evening. Highly recommend the mac and cheese food trucks, amazing! The cleaning staff are incredible, ablution blocks are always spotless. The little shop has everything you need, from coffee machine, ice, snacks, camping goodies, etc. There's a well kept mini golf. Highly recommend this for camping.

Left after 1 night

Returned home after 1 night after what was supposed to be a 2 night break at Waxham Sands staying on the camping pitch. Really disappointed. We were staying with our 2 young children for my youngest's 2nd birthday. On arrival, we were told the park rules and where our pitch is and instantly saw how crammed in the tents were, behind us were a big group of people who were swearing, shouting and carrying on. We pitched with unease and hoped they would settle down. After a walk on the beach, which was beautiful, we checked out the facilities. All very basic and could do with a big update. The park was very noisy, which was expected due to how close everyone was together however, what we didn't expect after being told the rules on arrival was for this to carry on until gone midnight, both our children were woken up numerous times after not being able to go to sleep till very late. We packed up the next morning and left.

Great experience

Great review with my family. The location is unmatched and very close to the seals. Cleanliness was good. Perfect shower designs. Most importantly it is family friendly.

Fantastic stay

We had a fabulous stay! We loved the access to the beach, a highlight was a morning spent watching the seals. The food trucks that came over the course of our stay were brilliant & we loved the facilities for children on the site. Mini golf and parks were a huge hit along with the walks through waxham woods. Very dog friendly & we made use of the doggy shower every day of our stay. Showers & toilets were spotless & the shop/reception staff were super friendly and helpful. We will be back to visit the seals again next year!

Lovely holiday park

I have just come back from 4 nights camping on a powered site here and have loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is amazing and the park is very child friendly.

Mostly good

Excellent spot, just a short walk over the dunes to a fantastic beach, clear water too! Only spoilt by the night wardens failure to shut down the significant amount of coarse and unruly behaviour late into the night.

An amazing clean stay!

We had an amazing stay at Waxham Sands. We had an electric hook up pitch, further from the beach, but by a toilet and washing up block. Very quiet in the evenings. Great access to the beach which was beautiful. Brilliant facilities, which made camping with a busy family, a lot easier. On site food vans selling an amazing variety of meals and puddings. Can't wait to go back!

Camping trip

Last minute booking to the site and our first camping trip as a family. Lovely location on the beach, staff friendly and helpful, shower block clean, shop had everything we needed, food trucks was great too. Perfect spot right on the beach will definitely book again!

Great site, but very busy

Great site, facilities are good and the beach is beautiful. We stayed August bank holiday so expected it to be busy, but felt that the pitch sizes needed to be bigger to allow adequate space between tents - most people, us included, had large tents and so it felt like we'd been "packed in" - that aside, no complaints at all. Pizzas from the shop are very nice, food vans are good but very long wait times (again, to be expected on bank holiday weekend). We'd return but probably for a mid week stay when it's a bit quieter.
