Woodland family adventure

We enjoyed a lovely stay on this woodland site. Family-run, friendly and accommodating. We loved the swimming pool and had lots of fun in the park. The woods offered great shade during the heatwave. Location couldn’t have been better for visiting beaches, River Cottage and National Trust properties. Ideal stay. Campfires are a must!

Lovely family friendly site, also accepts dogs. Pitches were tired and not brilliantly maintained, but to be fair, the weather has been awful. Small forest walk on site, children's play area and swimming pool only really suitable for children. Small shop on site.
Facilities are good and owners work hard to keep them clean and in order, but it seems visitors don't leave things as they find them.
Lovely to see people camped amongst the trees, and well spaced out. No noise rule after 22:30, which seemed to work.
Plenty of walks near by, local pub about 3/4 hour walk and fairly easy walk to Forde Abbey, just over 2 miles away.
We had a lovely peaceful and relaxing break.
