A little slice of P&Q
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 I'd highly recommend this site. Location was excellent. We stayed in the walled garden.
The staff were exceptional and the facilities were clean and tidy and well stocked. My only gripe was the person next door to us complaining about us having a pre approved fire as agreed with the site before arrival. Other than that, we have already decided to go back as soon as we can.
Great site large pitches
May 2025 Fantastic site, so quiet with a lovely park for children. Electric tent pitches are big (around 9m x 7m) so could fit our tent on it, no bother, with a nice little car park next to the pitch. Really good perk that you only pay once for the safari park, but get to use it for all your stay, which we didn't know till we got to the site, but the weather was poor so it meant we could nip in and out depending on the weather.
Smiddy café is well worth a visit for some nice food, there is a forest walk but we drove round instead, quite busy (for good reason) but lots of tables.
Facilities are really clean and looked after. There is a family bathroom too, it was large enough for us all to shower which, with an energetic toddler, was a good bonus.
For 2 of the nights, there was an ice cream van that visited the site too, there is also a pizza van but it wasn't on when we were there (assume too early in the season!)
All in all, it was a great stay at the site (even with the weather).

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 Gorgeous location, our pitch was in the walled garden which made for a warmer nights sleep than we'd had previously!
The pitches are large, level and well equipped.
We arrived late but check in was simple and we met the staff the next morning who were very friendly and helpful.
If you have children there is a lovely play area with pitches close to it.
Only slight negative was that the facilities were a bit dated. They were however very clean.
Would definitely recommend and would gladly return next time we're in Scotland.

Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 This is a top caravan and camping site. 5 star for cleanliness and location. Well worth a stop if you're coming from the south up to the Highlands.

Fantastic playground and a lovely walk through the forest to walk the dog. The only negative we found is that the electric hook up amperage was very low (0.9amp)

Very clean and tidy site, shower blocks are great, the family showers are very powerful. Perfect!
Perfect location for days out. The Safari less than a mile away. Farm park right next to the safari too.
A really great location for everything, we actually didn't want to come home. We will be back next year.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Brilliant site, very clean and quiet. Nice playpark for kids. Located next to safari park and great deal with multi day tickets for campsite residents. Staff very friendly and helpful, will definitely return for longer stay.

Can’t rate this place enough
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2024 Booked for 2 nights, wish it was longer. Easy to find, check in brilliant. The man that booked me in was a top man, nice and pleasant and gave me all the info.
Parked next to the toilets, nice and clean showers were hot. The walled garden was nice and quiet. There are a few walking trails, great for dogs and not too hard for physically challenged. I think you can see parts of the Safari Park, luckily no scary animals on the walking trail!
I will definitely be going back, thanks for the lovely stay.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Friendly welcome upon arrival, campsite is clean and tidy and very well kept.
The facilities are good but family toilet/shower is a tad tired but functional. As the whole bathroom is a wet room, the floor can get a little dirty, which isn't good when you go for a shower.
The location of the tent pitches is slightly away from the main campsite and next to the road leading into the campsite, so can be a little noisy, but they are right next to the facilities which is excellent if you have a 3 year old.
Overall, the campsite is great with a fantastic park and great walks. We will be back.
