Great location

Fantastic quiet location with great countryside views, dog friendly. Good level 10 metre pitches, plenty of electric hook ups, toilet/shower facilities are clean and tidy. Would stay again.

Perfect

The perfect location for exploring the local area with Woolacombe and Saunton a short drive away. The campsite has phenomenal views across the countryside and was wonderful for our bank holiday break in the sunshine. The campsite itself is basic but has all of the necessities you need and the changing facilities are very well looked after and clean. Charles is the perfect host and we wouldn't hesitate in booking again if we return to the same area.

Nice rural farm campsite

Great rural farm site with fantastic views across to Barnstaple. Charles, the owner it a very welcoming gent and very informative about the area. Showers and toilets are clean and perfectly serviceable. We would recommend this site if you're in the area.

Stunning views

Wonderful, personal service from the owner. This is a level, lawned site with great views. It is set a bit back from the noisy, hurly burly of the coast, close to the lovely town of Barnstaple. Excellent visit, we intend to return.

Very nice camping with stunning views

Very nice site, Charles, the 'gaffer' as he calls himself, is very friendly and nothing is too much for him. Facilities are older but very clean. Pitches are very large and the view is spectacular (if you are Dutch anyway😄). Highly recommended!

Lovely place, close to Barnstaple with countryside views

We needed somewhere close to Barnstaple when visiting friends and this was perfect for us. Made to feel very welcome by owner, lovely view from site, level pitches, clean facilities - what more could you want? The site is about 5-10 minutes drive from Barnstaple itself, which has beautiful countryside and beaches within easy reach. Highly recommended if you need something similar.

Lovely view

A nice campsite quite relaxing for a few days away. Really nice view to wake up to. Weather unfortunately wasn't on our side though. Not much nearby that we could find, but relaxing nonetheless.

Below the stars

Charles is a lovely host, the site is clean and quiet and the view and stars at night are amazing. It is nice and peaceful with basic amenities but everything you need and near town if needed. Been a few times, will return next year. Highly recommend this little gem.

Lovely place to stay

Lovely quiet site, well kept pitches which were quite large. No issues whilst we stayed. Site owner lovely and chatty.
