Being adult only, you can enjoy peace and quiet as you sit back and soak in the wonderful views towards Skiddaw and the Northern fells. All the pitches are fully serviced with water, waste and 16 amp electric. There are 15 grass pitches for both tents and tourers, along with 15 hardstanding pitches for tourers only. Each pitch allows up to just two guests to ensure the park is never too crowded. VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesSep 2025

A lovely peaceful adults only site, really friendly and helpful owners. Couldn't do enough for us. Toilet facilities very good. Good location near Cockermouth and Bassenthwaite. Would recommend for someone looking for a peaceful informal spot to relax in.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesSep 2025

We stayed here for the first time, and it will not be the last. Judith and her husband are the most wonderful hosts you will ever meet, warm, welcoming, helpful, full of knowledge about the local area, and so blooming hard working. Nothing was too much trouble for them, never have I felt more at home on a site. The pitches are all wonderful, not a bad one on site, beautiful, quiet, peaceful, great location and fantastic hot showers. An abundance of wildlife surrounds you, if you want a site that is well kept, clean, peaceful and full of warm welcoming people this is the site for you. We took our fur baby, who can be a challenge lol, Judith welcomed her with open arms and made an absolute fuss of her - by the end our fur baby was actively looking for her. The facilities were great for her and so many places to walk her. This is by far one of the nicest sites we have ever stayed on, and as soon as I can, we are booking to go back next year. If you're reading this then don't hesitate to book you will not be disappointed.

Lovely site

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesSep 2025

The site is huge and has lots of room between pitches. Having your own spotless, warm bathroom is tremendous. Bus service from about half a mile up the road. The owners are very friendly and obliging.
