About the site

An ideal location for wildlife spotting and scenic walks, this small, secluded site is a lovely spot to escape the crowds and unwind in the heart of the Ceredigion countryside. For days out, you're just a 30 minute drive from the coast, with New Quay less than 45 minutes away, perfect for hopping on a boat trip. There are 21 grass pitches, each around 8m x 8m, with the option of a 16 amp electric hook up. Tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans are all welcome, with up to six guests permitted per pitch. Please note that caravans over 8.5m long or over 2.3m wide find it difficult to enter the site. This is attempted at your own risk. There are also seven hardstanding pitches available, each with an optional 10 amp electric hook up. For a more romantic getaway, the shepherd's hut sleeps two and sits in its own private garden, complete with a stream running through it. Inside the rustic 6m x 3m hut, you'll find a double bed with bedding, electric, a wood burner and a bathroom opposite with a toilet and shower. There's also a small kitchenette with a sink, kettle and toaster. Outside, a large private patio provides plenty of space to relax, with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen featuring a fridge, hob, sink and BBQ, plus all the pots, pans, crockery and utensils you'll need. There's a table and chairs for al fresco dining, along with a fire pit for cosy evenings. The shepherd's hut also comes with a complimentary breakfast hamper, packed with sausages, bacon, free-range eggs and either scones or Welsh Cakes to enjoy in the morning. Please note that the shepherd's hut is pet free. This is a semi-wild nature experience with plenty of the creature comforts you love. Located in an official Dark Sky zone, the lack of light pollution means clear nights can offer spectacular views of the cosmos, so don't forget your telescope! In the daytime, keep an eye on the skies for red kites and buzzards, while the wildflower meadow, with large areas deliberately left to grow naturally, provides a haven for insects, birds and other wildlife. It's a great spot for nature lovers to slow down. Dogs are also welcome to join you when camping, with up to nine pups permitted per pitch, so there's no need to leave the whole pack at home! For evenings around the campfire, fire pits are available to borrow, with firewood available to purchase. BBQs are welcome too, as long as they're raised off the ground.

Teifi Meadows is a small campsite which is what we were looking for. The owner greeted us straight away he was warm and friendly nothing was to much trouble for him. The swing area for the children was great. The shower block is good hot water every time we used them. If your looking for a site that you want to chill this is it ☺️ you have to drive everywhere you want to go

It is a small site tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent value for money. Friendly staff greeted me when I arrived. The only minor negative thing I would say is it wasnt easy to find reception and the toilets are in the cubicle with the shower so if 2 people are in the shower, you cant use the toilet but not a deal breaker for me. Definitely go again.

I'm Joss, a writer of psychology and philosophy, and a meditation teacher. I came to Wales in search of inspiration. By stepping back from the hustle and bustle of hectic 21st century life, I wanted more time for the important things in life - time for cooking, time for playing, time for myself and more quality time to share with friends.

I also wanted to become more self-sufficient in food, water and energy and found that the site can provide almost everything I need. Running the campsite gives me the chance to connect with people from far and wide, of all walks of life, and to see them at their best - relaxed, open, devices off, present in the moment.

If holidaying with little ones, Fantasy Farm Park (30 minutes) is perfect for a day out. There is an animal barn, indoor fun house, nature trail, go karts, climbing frames, pedal tractors, pedal boats and more!

For making the most of any warm weather, Aberaeron Beach is a 30 minute drive away. Grab some fish and chips or an ice cream and watch on as the boats come in and out of the harbour.

National Trust - Llanerchaeron is 25 minutes from the site, an 18th century estate with grand rooms and a farmyard. Explore the walled garden, lake and manicured grounds with dogs welcome too.
