Great location, lovely site.

The campsite has everything you need and is just a 10 minute drive from Tenby. Everything was as advertised and clean and calm. Lots of families and our kids had a great time.

Excellent stay

Great campsite, owner works hard and keeps facilities clean and tidy. Nice to have a dog walking area that is closed off. Will visit again, would benefit from a small shop to sell essentials, apart from that it’s great!

Crane Cross Camping

Lovely site with and without hook up. We camped without hook up and could pitch up where we wanted to, which was great. Plenty of room and nice clean facilities, also a fridge and freezer for food ice packs. Close by to both Saundersfoot and Tenby and local buses if you don't have transport. Also, park and ride in Tenby as parking can sometimes be difficult. Would definitely go again and will be recommending to friends and family. Loved it 😍

Lovely hot showers, clean toilets with andrex toilet roll. Lovely field to take your dog to do their business. Just a great site to stay on. 100% will be coming back and telling others

Lovely stay

Lovely stay at Crane Cross. Great location for local seaside towns Tenby and Saundersfoot. Only downside is it's a 30+ minute walk to Beach. Toilets and showers were basic but always really clean and well equipped. Fridge and freezer available for use, and clean pot wash area with washing up liquid to use. Very safe, friendly site, thank you for our lovely stay.

Really good site.

The site itself is lovely, has nice flat areas with trees and good facilities. Showers, toilets, really clean and spacious wash areas for your plates ect. Has fridge and freezer you can use also, payphone and power banks you can rent. There seemed to be either washers or driers there that you can use also but didnt look close enough to know. Seems well run, nice park for the kids to play on, different things like tennis ball on string, football goals ect. The allow controlled fires and bbqs also, and there are many shops and takeaways near by for supplies and such and both saundersfoot and tenby are less than 10 mins drive. Overall one of the better campsites i have been to and will go again.

Fantastic

Location: 10 minute drive to Tenby, 5 minutes drive to Saundersfoot, lots of beaches close. Value for money:paid roughly £34 for standard non electric pitch which I thought was very reasonable. Standard for service: no front desk just drive up and pitch then sign in by book, met the owner briefly who was checking on the site and was very nice. Facilities: all you need. Toilets, shower, well maintained park, bat and ball, goals for football. Washing machines, phone chargers all you need. Cleanliness: everything was very clean and well maintained

Another fantastic stay

Thank you again for another fantastic stay. My family and I stayed for 10 nights, which is the longest we've ever camped and we still didn't want to go home! The site as always was spotless, cleaned regularly and plenty of loo rolls in the toilets! The location of the site is perfect. Only 10 mins from Tenby which is my fave place, 10 mins from Saundersfoot. We drove to Carmarthen and enjoyed visiting there for the day. We made friends on site, which was lovely and everyone was friendly, kind and respectful of each other. I saw the owner inspecting the park every day to ensure nothing was broken and that the equipment was safe to play on which I was really impressed by. The pitch was spacious and we got the exact pitch we asked for, which was excellent! I couldn't be happier. We made more happy memories and can't wait to go back again next year. If you're thinking of booking here, do it!

Budget friendly, well facilitated

Campsite value was excellent, with all facilities required available to you! I personally would have liked to have been provided a pitch space, but also I understand others enjoy the flexibility of pitching where you wanted. It was surprising to see people tend to gravitate towards your pitch regardless of the empty space throughout the campsite. The toilets were frequently topped up with all amenities and the provisions of a fridge and showers were excellent. The dog area is ideal to allow dogs that space to roam off the lead, play fetch and keep them exercised. The location is fantastic when staying in South Pembrokeshire, but a little more difficult when wanting to visit further afield. I explored, but never found a friendly/safe way to walk from the campsite to Saundersfoot, or to somewhere which is on a bus route.

Thank you for your booking and review of Crane Cross. The safest walk to Saundersfoot (and on to the bus route in Saundersfoot) is to exit the gate from the Dog Field and cross the main road, A478, and walk down Hopshill Lane which leads into Saundersfoot.

Weekend break

We spent the weekend camping here and loved it. Campsite is very clean and tidy facilities are great. The showers are lovely and hot. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent site

A great site that had everything I needed for a 2 night stay. Well maintained grounds, spotlessly clean toilets and hot showers. I used the lightly trafficked lane, opposite the main road, for a 20/25 min walk into Saundersfoot village.

probably won't stay there again

Good location, nice dog walking area, good motorhome service points, good clean facilities, however we did not enjoy our stay due to unruly screaming children playing football by our van, of which the ball hit our van several times and the dog bed (with dog in it) which was just outside our door, children and many adults walking inches past our open door, no respect for privacy, total lack of common decency and respect. fine for families with children but not for us. although there were signs saying 'respect others privacy' many chose to ignore them.

Highly recommended.

Cracking site. Level spacious pitches. Great facilities, well maintained. And.. Hot showers! Would stay again and definitely recommend.

Gem of a campsite

What a great find :) Couple of miles out of Tenby and super peaceful. Great pitch sizes and different shaded areas, so never feels busy. Toilet/facilities quite rustic/dated but they have everything you need and are very clean. Fridge/freezer available to use and washing machine/dryer which was really good value. Small play park for kids and some sports equipment (footy nets etc). Dogs welcomed and there is an enclosed dog exercise area. Only thing missing is a small shop but we walked down to Saundersfoot which was 1 mile down a steep hill but doable. A really peaceful site, so maybe not for people wanting a lively time, but for those wanting a peaceful campsite in beautiful surroundings, it's perfect :) Thanks for having us - thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - will hopefully be back one day.

Stayed for 5 nights

We stayed at crane cross camping for 5 nights with our 2 boys age 8 and 3 they absolutely loved it there if it wasnt for work we could of stayed there longer 😊 Toilets and shower blocks where always clean and regulary checked There was a small park there and a swing ball which we spent a lot of time at even tho it was small there was enough for both ages to do Also its close to saundersfoot and Tenby although there where no shop on site i think it was good as you know what kids are like in a shop i highly recommend this camp to anyone that wants a quiet relaxing time away 👌peaceful 🙌🏼 We will definetly be booking again 😍

Cranr Cross camping park review

lovely site 5 mins from Saundersfoot and 10 mins from Tenby by car. Nice playground for kids and lots of space with generous sized pitches. Will definitely be going back. Jeff & Julie

A little gem

We just returned from our 2 day stay from 17th to 19th July. Everything spot on, all facilities you need and close to Saundersfoot. We will be returning.

Good find

Booked this last minute. A bit on the pricey side but the facilities & service made up for it. Once I found a quiet lane to walk into Saundersfoot (30min walk), I was fine. However, the main road has no pavement, fast cars & quite noisy. The washing up liquid supplied in the dishwasher area was a lovely touch. Would recommend this spacious, clean & convenient site.
