Whether you're exploring the Dales or the Lakes, Little Acre Camping is ideal - only a 15 minute drive from both. Relax in the tent here and take the pooch for a stroll by the peaceful Lancaster Canal (just adjacent to site) or hop on a bus to Kendal or Kirkby Lonsdale (both 15 minutes away). Just across the road, is the popular dog friendly Crooklands Hotel, with a bar and very good food served all day. The site is for adults (16+) only!

A very handy location as I was helping out at the Country Fest just down the road. Friendly owners and very helpful. Good facilities. Would revisit and recommend to people.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesJun 2023

Beautiful campsite, pitches were great and water and hookups were close by. The facilities were very clean and the site manager was so very lovely! The ice cream man came on site and the street food van visited this weekend. Pub across the road. Short drive to Kendal and Bowness for lovely days out. All the other campers were really friendly, with plenty of room for the children to play games. Paul was fabulous and very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We will defo be returning :)

Lovely site. Paul is extremely friendly and helpful. Good sized pitch, ground level with no bumps, an added bonus. Will certainly be back, especially once new facilities are open.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesMay 2023

First time at Little Acre this weekend and it was 10/10 - the owners are very friendly people, they give great recommendations and the park is immaculate. Location is a stone's throw away from a lot of lovely places to visit. Having the canal across the road was a great walk (and swim) for the dogs and then to top it off they could be cleaned off in the river just by the site entrance.
