VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesMar 2026

Beautiful views with an incredible sunrise and a twinkling sunset. Upon a friendly welcoming check-in, we were provided with all the site information, the facilities locations and services on offer, including the amenities within the village - just 2 minutes walk downhill. Advised we could pitch anywhere, we parked up our van on a flat pitch and popped the kettle on. Even though there were at least 8 other camping groups on site - it was very tranquil and relaxing. As we gazed across the billowing countryside, soaked in the setting rays of the sun… the evening sky took on a nature filled ambiance as the dimensions of the hills, tree lines and distant lights of a neighbouring village twinkled into view - amplified by bird calls and flapping wings, just stunning. The following morning's sunrise was even more spectacular! The campsite field was clean and litter free. The gender specific shower/ toilet blocks were well equipped with underfloor heating, rain-head hot showers, basins, hand soap, mirrors and a powerful hand dryer. The blocks were clean and presented using farm building materials- in-keeping with its location. The outdoor pot washing facilities were plentiful - although we personally didn't visit/ use the indoor kitchen - there was a microwave/ freezer/ toaster etc available to campers. The onsite cafe/shop had a good menu to suit many appetites and a vast selection of convenience to buy in the shop - including camping gas, sweets, drinks and toiletries. Other services we didn't take advantage of include hot tub hire and fire pits. The site also offers its own range of converted vehicles and pods to stay in. Our pitch and the facilities on offer provided us with convenience and a comfortable environment for a mere £28! Coupled with spectacular views - our stay was excellent!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesFeb 2026

Had one night here, unfortunately due to the rain we couldn't use the pitch, but Sam suggested we stay on the gravel which was fine. Breakfast in The Ivy Cafe was well cooked and piping hot.
