Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The pitches were spacious and hook ups worked well.
We had two pitches and had to use one pitch to park cars and one to pitch tents as the hook up was too far away for the electric lead we had. Not a problem for us anyway, as we were with friends and wanted to be close to each other. One pitch fit two large tents easily.
The toilets and showers closest to us were quite tired and dated. Mould and stains in showers - we were told by another guest about some nicer showers but this was on our last day so was a bit late. It was a little annoying that the toilets close randomly for cleaning - would be nice to know when as had to send a desperate little girl into the men's alone a few times as she wouldn't have been able to wait any longer.
Of course, I know cleaning is necessary and was very much needed as people made a lot of mess in the facilities, the cleaners did do a good job each time and they looked much fresher.
The tree house and park were a firm favourite with our little ones. Although did have to tell some older children off as they tried to tell them to move! The bar staff were very friendly, had a few good evenings in there. My only other grumble is the lack of security - we witnessed/heard several arguments, almost fights on the campsites along with antisocial behaviour. People were shouting and swearing and playing loud music way after midnight, particularly in the second part of our stay.
It would be helpful to be given a contact number for security as I tried to search one online and couldn't find one and didn't feel comfortable confronting people ourselves with young children in our tents.
Overall though, we had a really fantastic time, lots of memories made. Easy access to Hunstanton for the beach & Sea Life centre.
Lovely site
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Only stayed for 1 night to attend an event at Sandringham.
Check in at 2pm was straight forward, the pitch was a good size for our tent and vehicle, electric hook up. point was easily accessible. Didn't use the showers or washing up facilities, but they looked clean and the toilets were being cleaned the morning of our departure and were clean the times we did use them.
Quiet site through the night, no antisocial noise. Would stay again if in the area.
Quiet camping near the beach
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We stayed here as we were attending an event at Sandringham. We had seen some mixed reviews before heading off so expectation was low, but we were pleasantly surprised. The site itself was easy to find and well signposted which was great as a first time visitor to the area.
Firstly, the lady on reception was very lovely and friendly which was great. She explained the barrier and gave us a map showing us where to go. The non-electric pitches were well marked out and a bit of a free for all and we were able to save a pitch next to us for our friends. There was a small play park in the field and a larger one a minutes walk away which our friends daughter loved.
The shower block was basic but did the job. Whilst there was a signing sheet for regular toilet checks, these seemed to stop after 4/5pm and both nights. By the time we went to bed, most of the toilets were filthy and unusable, which was a shame. The toilets are cleaned each morning between 8-9 which meant they had to be closed for half an hour each which was frustrating as this was when most people seemed to want to use the bathrooms. Between this and lack of cleaning later in the day, it felt a bit grubby at times. But this is the only really negative thing we had to say.
Overall, if we were going to a local event we would stay again, but would want to take our own toilet!
Would recommend if you are happy with something basic. We didn't use the bar or shop on site but both appeared well used by other guests.

From the lovely friendly welcome at check in, fun, speedy and efficient. Clear instructions and standards here of cleanliness were excellent.
We only stayed one night but wish we were staying longer as it looked great.
Great campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 It's brilliant, we stayed non electric tent camping, the shower block is a bit tired but serviceable. The showers in the sheds are so nice instead.
The lady in the shop is funny, the bar staff are brilliant, 100% will return.
Oh, and the security presence is brilliant, so proper quiet at night.
Just what we needed
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We stayed at this campsite to attend a concert at the Sandringham estate. As a group of 4 (2 couples) this was a perfect campsite for us. It wasn't too busy, it was walking distance to the beach, Heacham, a few bars for a drink, a chip shop and only driving distance from Heacham, Hunstanton and Sandringham when we needed any shopping or a change of scenery.
The campsite wasn't too full of kids which is great for us (our kids are grown up) and yes there are aspects of the campsite which could be cleaner or do with a bit of a modernise but we absolutely would stay again for a long weekend.

Toilets clean & plenty of them. Friendly helpful staff. Could do with more entertainment, bar very busy on certain nights.

Just what we needed, excellent facilities.
Only thing was that we weren't aware of was the £10 deposit for the barrier fob. Not a huge issue! Luckily we had £10 on us! Never really carry cash!

On site clubhouse was great. Toilets kept clean and regularly checked. Will definitely come back again.
Great site with everything you need
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Fantastic long weekend away with the family and dog. Brilliant location as everything is just a short walk or drive away.
The pitches were a good size and well kept. All the staff are very friendly and happy to help. Cheap prices at the bar, although its a little dated, we were welcomed with a smile from the bar staff. Plenty of things to keep the kids entertained, park, football pitch, bingo, entertainment.
The only thing that has knocked down the review is the big skip was full and needed emptying, this meant that more flies and wasps were near our tent. Not really a big issue as it was more to do with the location of our tent. The shower blocks near us weren't great (needed modernising) but we just headed over to the other blocks.
All in all, a great stay and excellent value for money. We'll definitely be coming back.

Was too much noise after 11pm & before 8am which are the site rules. Ladies showers & toilets were not very clean, at one point during our stay, one of the showers was blocked. Could have done with more washing up facilities as a lot of the time you had to queue to use.
Rubbish bins always overflowing.
Good value for money with good facilities
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The toilet facilities and park are good. We didn't go to the bar.
They are meant to close the playground at 21.30 but lack consistency on this. When the playground is closed, it leads to children messing around in the tent area and there was a group of disruptive teenagers who weren't dealt with well by security. Our children found that the way security spoke to them was rude, this was also disappointing to hear. When this was discussed with security and the supervisor, of course the reports of lack of consistency on closing time and rudeness was denied.
Location was good, although we found ourselves travelling around 40 minutes to the area around Wells.
Space for the tent was good and electric worked well, no issues.
Apart from the security experience, we did enjoy the stay and the children had a great time.
Ideal pitch
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 It's my ideal to choose the pitch, have line demarcation for pitch, plenty of facilities and be close to walks without having to use car. This site has it all and quiet at night.
Honest review Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Site was ok, staff friendly. Not a lot on site for older children to do and not a lot locally.
Shame some families could not control their children playing football whilst we were trying to put our tent up and barbecue. I think stricter rules for that should be in place.
Okay but not nice for children! Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 This was our first camping trip as a family and so we haven't much to compare to.
We booked this site as we wanted to find a child friendly site. With the kids club and playground, this seemed like a good option. The staff at reception and around the park were pleasant and polite - the pitch was a good size and we were located in a really peaceful spot. We explored the site and found that they had a good variety of toilet and shower blocks which were mostly modern and always clean.
There was a good park but unfortunately, our children weren't able to use these due to lots of older children swearing and playing loud music without much care about the younger children. This continued for the whole trip which was a huge shame. Luckily, we were not pitched close to the park but if we were, we would have been really unhappy with the noise disruptions etc.
At one point, I also witnessed a verbal argument between some of the same children and an adult who I assumed lives on site. This was in front of my daughter and it was very uncomfortable and intimidating. At times, it did feel uneasy to walk around the site which isn't okay. The entertainment at the kids club was poor and the atmosphere wasn't inviting - my daughter was disappointed by the kids disco as it was not in any way shape or form a disco. Without children, we probably wouldn't return but with children we definitely would not return.
Not the best place especially with children Jul 2025 The positives - the toilets and showers were mostly modern and they were always clean. The staff were polite and kind. The pitch we were given was quiet and peaceful.
The negatives - this is not a child friendly site despite it being sold as one. There was a park and a kids club but this was ruined by older children spending time in these places, playing loud music and swearing consistently. They had no regard for any of the younger children and consequently my two children could not use the park. The entertainment was awful - it was not suitable for children at all.
Without children we probably would never return but with children we definitely would never return.
Good site but tired in areas
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Overall, a good site. We had a great pitch - which was very generous. We walked around the rest of the park and felt that some of the tourer statics/area were tired and untidy. Reception was friendly and informative. The little shop handy for bits n bobs.
We had a burger and chips from the van which was very good, and a drink in the friendly bar. The park area is a bit tired and weeds growing around which made it look untidy. Showers/toilets were clean and the water hot but again, getting a bit tired. Appreciate it's a busy time of year so tricky to keep on top of things.
This was our second visit and will definitely be back - so I guess that says enough!!
Diglea Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We stayed on a touring field. The toilets and showers were definitely passed their sell by date. There were two other sets in alternative locations which were better and newer one of which is shown on the listing, however ours definitely needed updating.
The approach to the field also needed attention. There was a rough area with cut down tree stumps on the right hand side. This does not give a good impression. This could easily be tidied up or hidden behind a fence.
The beach is only 5 minutes in the car. There is limited food available on site, however a fish and chip shop round the corner and several pubs within a short 10 minute drive.
Hunstanton is only 4 miles up the road with all it offers.
Lovely site, friendly staff
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2025 We had a lovely 3 days at Diglea and will definitely be back. Very friendly staff and welcoming staff.
The toilets/showers are clean and functional, with 4 individual beach huts containing toilet, sink and shower and a modernised block with 3 showers and 3 toilets.
The bar is spacious with plenty of seating inside and out and sensible prices.
A short 10 minute walk away is a pub and a fish and chips shop and a few minutes on from there is the beach.
Ideally you would need a car to get out and about but a lovely site and we will be back.
One night stay
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2025 Our stay was ok. The pitch we were allocated was not that great, right opposite the bins. I think we were allocated this as we were only staying one night.
Facilities very clean and fresh. Shame there is no Elsan disposal points. Our dog enjoyed the dog walk and the walk to the beach was lovely.
Disappointed Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2025 I came to Diglea because it said it had a bar. However, this was closed the entire 3 nights, it was like a ghost town.
The beach was dreadful, there wasn't anything to do nearby, I had to drive out to other places. I wouldn't book again but I can say the facilities were fabulous, spacious and clean.
