from outdoor toys for the kids. a visit from the bunny and our girls loved the fairy woods.
will be booking again for sure.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Quite aside from the beautiful location and standard of facilities, the folks running this place were just legendarily helpful and welcoming.
We'd not had a good journey, but the welcome we received when we got there totally turned the day around. It went from an incredibly stressful day to an extremely positive one.
Thanks to everyone who helped out. It was my son's first camping trip and while it was chaotic due to unforeseen circumstances, it was a perfect introduction for him.

Super clean facilities and very helpful team working there. Not noisy at all later on when you want to sleep. Everyone loved it.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Lovely small friendly and clean campsite. Very good facilities. The large chess, connect four and fairy glen are lovely touches and keep the kids occupied. Plenty of room to kick a ball around and have fun.
Lovely site - perfect for a family trip

The facilities were cleaned regularly (staff tried to clean showers in-between uses but it wasn't always possible when a little busier).
The location is great - a short drive to the beaches and local towns.
It's a fairly quiet location, things to do with the kids and well maintained.
Will certainly be returning.

Very clean toilet showers and washing up areas. Strong smell of sewerage on pitch 4 not coming from treatment plant but from the ground nearby. Otherwise, all was very good.

I would recommend this campsite who likes basic camping. It's clean, washing up/shower facilities are clean. Flat grass for tents, gravel for cars and campervans, electric hookups, a fairy glen and druids stones

What a great place
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We had a great stay here and even got to see a red squirrel.
The site is located near a small village with a couple of pubs and was never more than 30 minutes away from the places we wanted to visit. The site was clean and well kept (even collected up all the grass cuttings after mowing the field, a pet hate of ours is loads of grass cuttings in the van and trailed into the shower blocks) and the staff we met along with the owner were very polite and chatty.
We would definitely stay again if over that way and would have no problem recommending it to friends and family.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 What a great little site this is, hidden away off the beaten track.
Completely level very spacious pitches. Although reception was closed when we arrived, there was a notice from Mark, the owner, informing us that we could choose where we wanted to pitch. He had left a contact number for any queries, and he visited the site most evenings. The site wasn't busy at all while we were there. Only approximately 7 pitches being used. Plenty of free fire pits are available to use.
Exterior of the facilities are in keeping with the environment, while inside the 4 shower/toilet rooms are modern, cleaned daily and of a generous size. There was also a separate male & female toilet unit. Which was locked, possibly due to the site being so quiet. Hopefully they will be available to use in peak season.
There are outdoor games available, a phone charging point and also a lovely Fairy Glen woodland walk to keep youngsters amused. Look out for the red squirrels on the feeders at the entrance to the lane, we saw them a few times later in the afternoon as we returned.
We would recommend this site to those wanting to enjoy a peaceful stay.
