Relaxed stay, great amenities, perfect

Great stay again, thank you. Location perfect, is about 20 mins down to Sunny Sands if you want to have a drink arcades and restaurants. Beach just at end of road. Always check the tide of you want to spend time on beach as comes high up onto the stones. Beautiful sunset as always. Stunning! Campsite chilled and owners are helpful and organised. Don't forget 20p or pound for showers which are fab. Toilets really well kept. Freezer and fridge full of food from other people staying so couldn't put our freezer blocks in so that may be an issue of camping rather than in caravan with electric. Was ok for us, only there a couple of days but if hot, a longer stay may have caused our food to spoil but nothing the owners can do about that tbh. Close to nice walks and pub along the main road and spar close by of driving bit of a walk. Close to Tal y Bont train station with regular trains into Barmouth town. Will be back, it is lovely site thank you so much.

Fantastic site

Brilliant site, ideally located, sea view was amazing, facilities very clean and well looked after. Just a shame about the no music rule, even if we can have it low just in tent would be something

Brilliant

Fantastic campsite. Large areas to pitch up. Really clean toilets and showers. Access to recycling and rubbish disposal. Clean drinking water. Really loved the ability to rent a fire pit and buy logs that really made it special. Close to arcades, only a mile walk down the road with a chip shop and burger bar with arcades.

Great site, great price

A great location for me in between my 2 destinations, A very tidy farm site, very welcoming with a great pitch. The toilet and wash up block looks brand new and is kept very clean. Just be aware you will need £1 coin to use the showers..

Week camping trip

Great week away, beautiful sea view, captured amazing sunsets, facilities clean. The added touch of hiring a camp fire was lovely for the evenings. Great location to shops, Barmouth and some beautiful walks.

Perfect family campsite

Our second year of staying here and absolutely loved it again. It will definitely be our family holiday spot for years to come. My two children feel safe and they know the layout. We asked for an extra night stay, if it was possible and the owner was very helpful in helping us do so even though they were full the next day. The no noise after 10pm is great to just the right time in my eyes. Toilet block one again was absolutely pristine. Showers were lovely and warm. Can't fault anything and we will be back next year.

Summer holiday

Great campsite, great facilities, great location. Only downside and it's only a personal point of view, the number of older kids playing football who were kicking the ball like rockets. We had the ball bouncing of the car, tent and also inside our tent. A separate field for playing football would make this site even better. But that aside, the site is fantastic.

Gorgeous location and well maintained

Well maintained and clean site with good basic facilities in a stunning location. View of the sea in one direction and rolling hills and mountains in the other. The layout was well thought of with level, roomy, grassy pitches based around the field, lined with cobbled walls, and a big open space in the middle for kids to play in sight of the tents/campervans. The bathroom facilities were kept lovely and clean, and despite having to pay £1 for a shower, they were lovely and hot and you get 6 minutes, just need to remember to bring coins. My only gripe is where the mains water was situated, next to the chemical waste disposal, so I couldn't bring myself to fill it up from there as the smell was pretty horrible. Instead, I got bottled water from town to avoid it. This appeared to be the only fill up on site, so maybe another fill point or relocation with solve this issue. Lastly, there is an inside washing up area which also has a freezer to freeze up packs if you need to, but no laundrette facilities, which would have been a bonus. Overall a lovely site, just wish I had booked for another couple of days.

In regards to water points on site, there is a wooden pence between the water tap and disposal point for separation and we have an additional two water points. Excellent location to walks

Lovely site. Showers perfect, clean, perfect temperature and pressure. 20p for 1 minute or £1 for 6 gave plenty of time for showering. Pub 5 minutes walk great selection of drinks. Great access 5 minutes to the woods and stream for dog walks. Train station 10 minute walk taking you straight to Barmouth sea front. Also nice route to walk instead of train about 5-6 mile but does take you along the roads when the tide is in. Excellent view from the pitch across the sea. Would recommend this site. Local spa shop 5 minutes in car .

Fantastic campsite with wonderful view of the sea

A lovely campsite close to many wonderful beaches. High standards of cleanliness in the shower blocks and nothing was too much trouble. Owners were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back in years to come. Weather for us was good but days out if it is raining were a little further afield.

Pleasant break away

Me, my wife and son stayed 2 nights if we had more time off work we'd have loved to stay longer. Owners were very approachable, 10 mins drive into Barmouth to enjoy the beaches. Site was very clean and well kept. Facilities we're amazing. We have been before and will be coming again. Thank you for a great weekend! (Blue Kuga)

Great campsite

Really liked this campsite, lots of space, great location, good toilet provision, very clean.

Family break away

The site was family friendly with a warm welcome from the owners. The facility was clean, both showers and toilets. The animals and swings were a massive hit with our kids. Only downside was some kids going around shooting BB guns and foul language whilst my kids were on the swings. Bonus Barmouth town was a small drive away with plenty for the kids to do with the family attractions and beach.

Fantastic campsite

The campsite is set on a farm in beautiful surroundings, the beach, a very well stocked shop and a delicious chippy are a 5 minute drive, there's a lovely pub with a beer garden over looking the river which the kids loved under a 10 minute walk away & Barmouth was a 15 drive and well worth a visit. The facilities were modern and always clean, there was even a fridge/freezer. There was plenty of space between tents and loads of areas for the kids to run around in. The best campsite I've been to and already booked for next year!

Fabulous convenient site. Spacious and well kept. Facilities are excellent and clean.

Short stay

A great site very clean with a sea view. Easy walking distance to local pub with good food. Great walks along the river for dogs.

Great place

Very well kept campsite set in a quiet place to relax and enjoy the sunshine, within walking distance to the beach, pub, public transport and walking trails. Very clean facilities with a fridge for campers to use and information about local walks and activities and train timetables. Friendly owners. Will definitely recommend and use again.

A relaxing stay

A very beautiful, peaceful and well maintained site. The facilities were always clean and the lady who manages the site was very sweet and helpful. We would definitely recommend it!!

Would stay again

Would definitely stay again, lovely quiet campsite just 5 mins walk from the beach. Lovely walk by the campsite which the host told us about, we wouldn't have know otherwise, so was a nice surprise. Only think that let it down was the backs of the toilets and behind bins wasn't cleaned properly, but this didn't effect our stay.

Lovely place to stay

Found the site to be well kept with great facilities and a friendly welcome. The pitches are a good size that are marked out. It wasn't busy during our stay, so very relaxed with a beautiful riverside walk one way, and a great dog friendly pub that provides good food 5-10 mins walk the other way. Will definitely go back.

Weekend getaway

Had a lovely stay here for a weekend. Campsite well kept and the lady was very helpful telling us about the local area. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Windy

Absolutely superb stay! If it wasn't for the weather, winds 65-80mph in a tent made for a fun few nights, but we weathered the storm and had a really good time! Great host and really good shower/toilet facilities.
