Large Tent - XL Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 I emailed a week before our stay with questions and they responded quick and were very accommodating to us.
We hadn't booked yet and were worried we left it too late, also, the fact we were a group and most campsites do not allow that (which I understand). The price is absolutely amazing and so much cheaper than any of the other sites we looked at in the area.
When we arrived, the man was very welcoming and friendly. We drove in and set up our tent and had the best time! Toilets and showers were only a few minutes walk away and the breakfast we had both mornings were one of the best I've ever had. The evening food wasn't as great (not much selection and a little expensive). The pizza was very nice but sadly, they ran out, so I had to have a kids chicken nuggets and chips which wasn't great.
The shop was good too, but would've been nice to have more variety in drinks (in both the café and shop there weren't really any diet options, diet coke, diet fanta etc). It was easy to leave and come back when we went to the beach for the day (which was only around a 15 minute drive)! We would definitely stay again.
Beautiful stay Recommends site

Tranquil Well Equipped Campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 A well cared for site, mostly flat ground and green grass where I could safely walk barefoot, child, adult and dog friendly with a separate exercise area for dogs. Except for hot weekends (August) where numbers inflated, it was quiet with lovely views across the hillside punctuated by bleating sheep, all part of the camping attraction with a few sheep to greet you at the entrance. We drove through what looked like moorland on the roads leading up to the campsite with horses, sheep, and cows crossing roads – which helped to slow down to the holiday pace.
We paid £26 a night for a medium sized tent, a dog and a car. Appreciated being able to choose where to pitch except for near the hedged areas which had electric hook ups.
Toilets were very clean and didn’t have to queue at any time. Shower pressure good. Made full use of indoor laundry and washing up facilities with hot water, a phone charging socket and freezer for ice packs. The onsite café meals were tasty with vegetarian options, for which we were very grateful, especially after arriving late. Owner very patient with late arrivals. Orange juice and hash browns were excellent. Even a separate area for washing down wet suits and sand. Impressed by the refuse recycling facilities. Small shop on site handy for topping up on milk, camping essentials and dog food. Even in a heatwave, the mist rolls in at night, so don’t forget to bring a blanket and woolly hat.
We usually travel by public transport and noted that the site is on a bus route which can take you to nearby beaches within a 10-15 minute drive. Swansea is about a 45 minute drive. Small garden centre close by and pub around a 25 minute walk. Supermarkets are quite a distance away so try to stock up before you arrive. A temporary bar parked up while we were there.
Areas for improvement: during busy periods e.g. weekends would have been helpful to have some stewardship of parking and tents, especially where there are groups. There were no clear lines of access for cars or camping areas.
Staff and campers were very friendly and we heard the Welsh language spoken frequently including dog commands. Great to see that this is still partly a working farm with some faithfuls returning year on year with a real mix of caravans, campervans and tents. Would definitely recommend the site and will return. A tranquil place to return to after a day’s activities.
Fantastic friendly and spotlessly clean Recommends site
Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We loved staying at Kennexton.
Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly! My 7 year old loved the cafe and the relaxing, warm atmosphere, we were made so welcome.
Great facilities including a large field for exercising dogs. Our dog didn't want to get in the car to come home.
This was our first family camping trip and we can't wait to come back!
Can highly recommend Recommends site

Lovely campsite, good location, clean facilities Recommends site
Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 This is a family friendly campsite that is spacious and well run. The facilities are great, with plenty of very clean loos, hot showers and kitchen/wash up room with a large freezer for ice blocks.
The staff are really friendly and helpful. The on-site shop has everything you need or have forgotten. The cafe is excellent, serving freshly cooked breakfasts and meal's which are very good value.
Great campsite! Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Great campsite! Spotless facilities, great size pitches and great food from the cafe.
We've just returned and tried to rebook for 2 weeks time, but they are fully booked. We will definitely be back soon ☺️
Too packed VW-Type Campervan - Small Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Left to yourself to find a pitch. No separation of pitches and some pitches too close. Staff seemed miserable.
Gower was lovely, especially Rhossili and Three Cliffs Bay.
Nice site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Nice site, we took our dogs and as stated, kept on lead. A very large family arrived had 2 fairly large dogs and let them roam around and they kept coming over to our dogs. We left a day early, no one was checking the site.
We were given a letter on arrival about site rules, one was dogs must be kept on leads at all time. Thursday was really good, nice and quiet. On the Friday, a family of about 15 turned up, had two black largish dogs, at no point were they on their leads, letting them roam about annoying other dogs and playing ball for all to see. There were loads of children running and playing about, and lots of other dogs including ours. We left a day early as it was clear no one from the site team were checking all dogs were on leads or in dog pens.
Also it states no noise after 11, they were still outside drinking kids still playing at midnight. Just a little consideration for other campers would of been nice.
2 night review Recommends site

Excellent site for all including fury friends Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Excellent campsite, very busy during our stay but still plenty of room for the kids to play. Excellent facilities including reception, shop, and a cafe doing morning brekkie and evening sit down or take out.
Secure dog field for the pups. No limits on pets. On site horsebox bar which was lovely on a summer evening.
Toilet and showering facilities were immaculate and the showers were hot straight away. Staff very friendly. Also hot wet suit washing area and chemical disposal area.
Close to local areas such as Llangennith beach, rhosilli and port eynon.
Loved our stay at Kennexstone! Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2025 Just got back from a few nights at Kennexstone Camping & Touring Park and we were really impressed. The whole site is peaceful, well-kept, and in such a beautiful spot—perfect for exploring the Gower.
The toilet and shower blocks were spotless, easily some of the cleanest we’ve come across.
The on-site cafe was excellent. Plenty of choices, reasonably priced, friendly staff and the food was amazing! Such a bonus to have that facility on site.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always happy to answer questions or point us in the right direction. It made the whole stay feel really welcoming and easy from start to finish.
Plenty of space and perfect for a relaxing time away.
Can’t wait to come back!

3 night stay with children Recommends site
Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 The campsite and facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Mid week the campsite was quiet, however if planning on staying over a weekend, be prepared for lots of campers and lots of noise. There are no designated pitches which has it's advantages but also means suddenly we were surrounded by lots of tents, very close. A great idea would be to have a child friendly field and a field for those larger groups who want to stay up far later partying.
I would definitely stay again but only mid week.
Excellent site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Excellent site for exploring the Gower coast.

Very clean, super helpful staff, big pitches.
Great location Recommends site
Medium Tent - Medium Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Stayed for four nights on this lovely site.
Great location for wonderful beaches, easy drive to Rhossili. Five minute drive to great pub, The Britannia. Ate there several times. Nice café on site - good for cooked breakfasts and ice cream. Shop sells camping basics - including local beer and cider.
Shower and toilet facilities were adequate but a little dated and tired. No mop to dry after use, so floor was always wet and tended to get a bit grubby later in the morning.
Excellent site Recommends site
