Clear filters A very nice well kept clean site
Motorhome - Extra Large Electric Touring Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 A very nice well kept clean site. Just off a bus route and local pub and shops are good. Great location for walking and very quiet on a night. We will definitely use Middlewood again.

Fabulous Easter stay with family friends
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Family Field) Apr 2025 We are just driving back to the Lakes after a fabulous stay at this wonderful campsite! The location is amazing as it is just a 15 minute stroll down to the bay.
Toilets and facilities were a bit outdated but perfectly clean! The campsite itself was very tidy too and well maintained. you can tell it is a very well cared for site.
The Flyingdales Inn pub was a 5 minute walk up the hill and the food was amazing! It had a little play park too.
We would defiantly recommend the Robin Hoods Bay ghost walk too! The adults and kids found the stories fascinating! Thank you so much!

Excellent location
Motorhome - Large Electric Touring Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 A short 20 minute walk through countryside to Robin Hoods Bay makes this an excellent choice of site. The sound of bird song surrounds you.
Toilets were clean. Reception helpful. Local shop for groceries. Small play park for children. Dog friendly.
A really great all round site.

Perfect location
Single Axle Caravan - Large Electric Touring Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 This site is a lovely, well maintained site.
Robin Hoods Bay is a short walk from the campsite. We nipped down a few times during our visit. I also recommend booking Brambles Bistro, which is in Robin Hoods Bay and the food was delicious.
Our pitch was well maintained and the toilet block was always clean. Will definitely return!

My first motorhome trip
Motorhome - Small Electric Touring Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 The location was beautiful and the local pub served excellent food.
The site was spotlessly clean and so were the showers and toilet facilities. The shower block was always well heated and kept in a pristine condition. The site was very quiet, just heard birds and sheep!
It was my first trip out in my new motorhome and the site has set a very high standard for the next journeys out.

Ideall base from which to explore North Yorkshire Coast
Twin Axle Caravan - Extra Large Electric Touring Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 An ideal location from which to walk or drive to access Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby or Scarborough. Only 10 mins drive out of Whitby, 20 mins to Scarborough or York within the hour.
But more importantly, you have access to fantastic coastal scenery and beaches, Robin Hoods Bay and Flyingdale 10 min walk from site, shops, pubs and places to eat.
Would highly recommend, our second trip and certainly not our last.

We loved it!
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly) Mar 2025 Stayed for the weekend. Immaculate glamping pod inside and out! Well equipped.
Peaceful and a stone's throw away from Robin Hood's Bay. Toilets very clean and showers lovely and warm.
Butty shop a few mins away provides a lovely breakfast, and there are fish and chip shops at the bay - yummy too!

Close to Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby. Pitches spacious with electric included. Toilets and showers nice and clean. Security barrier on gate.

Nice stay
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly) Feb 2025 A good place to stay with nice pods. The location was a short drive to places for a visit. Just make sure you take all utensils, cups, plates and sleeping stuff as we only had a fridge, kettle and microwave in the pod.
Would definitely stay again.

Nice site
Motorhome - Extra Large Electric Touring Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2025 The site is is really nice with spacious pitches. However, I have rated the facilities three stars due to the limited shower options in the family area.
There was no ability to adjust the water temperature and the standard shower duration was five minutes, resulting in three minutes of unnecessary water use in my case, the water was too hot for me.

First time campervanning, made to feel so welcome
VW-Type Campervan - Small Electric Touring Hardstanding Pitches Dec 2024 It was my first time in a campervan, reception were so helpful in explaining everything. The facilities were great and had everything you'd need.
Only downside was my camper gas ran out and the site didn't have any refills available, but other than that all was fine. 5*.
